Yea my life is sad. I just read Amourboy15's stories and DAMN THEY ARE GOOD! It's left me feeling my stories are, well.... stark and bland. So guys, I'm going to try up the story quality. I'M TRYING! 

This story is actually sooo cringe (at least that's how I see it) so yeah, but I will make a BETTER story AFTER this one. DON'T WORRY I'LL FINISH THIS ONE! I'M NOT GIVING UP JUST SAYING!

Ash's POV

I'm so glad we made up today.... now I know she doesn't hate me. She may be cute, but sometimes I think that's superficial. I mean, she can be an absolute demon.

The only negative is that Gary noticed us talking... which ain't good. Nothing's good if it's secrets and Gary Oak together in the mix.

"Yo Ash, stop flirting with the girl and get over here before I think you're like Calem!"

Serena and I both jump a bit, not expecting the outburst from the mahogany-haired boy. I blush a bit, and quit staring at those strands of hair that fail to go behind her ear. As for the Calem part.... everyone know in our group knows Calem has a HUGE crush on Shauna, so I guess Gary is hinting that I like Serena. Which is true, of course, but he doesn't need to know. I'd better come up with something.

"I'm not flirting, Gary!" is all that comes out of my mouth, and I almost cringe. Flat-out denial is the most common method of lying, Ash Ketchum! Get a grip! I chide myself mentally, worried about Gary's retort.

"Yeah right." The lazy, sarcastic reply drifts across the soccer field. Phew.

"Just get over here." he adds.

Ok. Act time. 

I nod at Serena, and she winks in this impossibly cute way that naturally draws attention to her deep blue eyes. I nearly forget what the plan was. NEAT, ASH!

"Run along now, Little Rena." I say, just so Gary can hear.

"DO NOT CALL ME LITTLE RENA!" she yells, so the whole school can hear, and I begin to doubt that Barry is the true shouting master. She storms off.
