*New POV*

I woke up from my slumber because of the lights flickering above my head.

My eyes opened and shut close again as the flickering didn't ease the pain in my head.

Slowly, I opened my eyes until they adjusted to the intensity of the light source above me.

I sat up and swung my legs to the side, touching the hard, cold floor. A shiver ran down my spine as I took in my surroundings. Everything looks like it came from horror movies.

I stood up and a small wave of dizziness hits me. I waited for a few seconds and began to look around for an entrance, but instead, I found a full length mirror. I made my way over it and my eyes almost popped out of my head.

My once short raven hair is now blood red and reaches the small of my back. My dark brown eyes are now green and I'm a tad bit taller. From 5'3 to 5'5-ish. And also, I had a scar running from the top of my left brow towards my left cheek. I didn't even remember anything that left a mark like this but I do remember how I exactly looked like before. I also took notice of the clothes that I'm wearing. Sweats and a loose shirt.

I looked around to see of there are clothes that I can change in and found some in a small table. I grabbed it and put it on.

It's a crop top that covers the upper part of my torso, leaving my abdomen exposed, a cropped leather jacket, dark skinny jeans, some combat boots and black gloves. There is also a holister that has a few small slots on. I looked around and saw that there are some daggers and knives. I grabbed enough and placed them in my holister. There are also two large blades inside a sheath. I unsheathed one and look at its blade. Its good enough for me. I placed it at the back of my hip for easy acces and two more extra medium sized daggers at my back. Better be prepared than never, right?

Without taking a glance at the mirror, I made my way out of this creepy room through a steel door.

The hallway is poorly lit and there are also flickering lights, making my headache resurface.

I grabbed a small dagger and made my way through the hallway. I passed few partly-opened doors and stop every once in a while to check one of them just to make sure there aren't any people in here.

A particular room caught my eye when I was about to head for the stairs. I entered it with percaution and held my dagger in a defensive manner.

"Hello?" I called out.

Even my voice is a tad bit lower than usual. I thought to myself.

A few shuffles was heard from my left and I backed up a bit, noticing that I was in the middle of the room.

"Is anyone here?"

There is an identical bed by the right side of the room and a low voltage bulb was lighting the room, making my vision minimum.

"W-who are you?" a male voice spoke and I turned around to see him pointing his arm at me. An arm-gun or something was strapped by his left wrist.

I raised both my arms in surrender.

"I'm not gonna hurt you."

"Then what are you doing here?"

"I'm finding my way out and -"

"Wait, so your saying that you're... from one of these rooms?" he asked.

"Uh, yeah. I'm just searching the place for a way out. Wanna help?" his face brightened and he nodded.

We made our way out of the room and headed towards the stairs.

"So, what's your name?" I asked as I try to make a small conversation.

"It's... uh, I don't remember. What about yours?" he asked and I racked my brains for my answer.

Surprisingly, I had no memory whatsoever of my identity- except for my physical appearance but other than that, everything's blank.

"Now that you've mention it, I had no idea either. It'd like someone wiped out my memories but I do remember what I used to look like."

He nodded. His shaggy short, blond hair bobbing at his motion. He has googles on top of his head and is wearing an explorer's outfit.

We finally reached what I assumed to be the 4th floor because of the faded number 4 on the wall.

"Now what?" he asked as his pale blue eyes searched the area.

"We find someone or our way out... ?"

"Our way out would be nice. But if we see someone who needs help, then we aid them?"

"Sounds like a plan. As long as they don't try to rip our throats open." he nodded.

We passed a few open and closed rooms. We checked them all with caution.

"Hey Red, did you hear that?" he asked.

"Red?"

"Yeah. Since, you know, your hair..." he trailed off.

"Well Blondie, I was once a raven haired girl. I'm sure your not as blond as you are now." I stated and he nodded.

"Brunette once. Then this shizzcoo thing happened and now I'm blond. Blond out of all the colors." he complained throwing his hands in the air. "And even my voice sounded weird."

"Mine too. I gue-"

I was interrupted with a growling sound coming just down the hall. Our heads snapped to the direction of the sound. I unsheathed my daggers and held them defensively as Blondie- that's what I'll call him for the moment- aimed his arm-gun thingy.

"Who's there?" I asked.

Silence followed. A few seconds later, a pair of blue orbs appeared and started to advance towards us.

What the?!

My eyes widened and without knowing it, both Blondie and I took off the opposite direction.

"What the hell was that?!" Blondie asked.

"I don't know but it's gaining on us."

Just then, I feel something claw my back, making me fall to the ground. The last thing I saw were those blue orbs earlier and worried blue eyes.
