Chapter 6

But when both superheroes looked at each other, and looked back at the girls, their eyes narrowed. Andrea gulped and Laila looked terrified and thought that the worst was yet to come.

Sadly, they were correct, Ladybug spoke up, and said: "That's what Volpina said. Sorry, but you two are akumas, no doubt about it, and we have to no choice but to fight you too."

Ladybug had nodded to Cat Noir, and they both took an offensive position towards Lady Papillon and Faucon Brun (A/N: Pronounced Fa-cun Bruu-n...I think lol sorry). Ladybug's hand was slowly sliding down her hip, and onto her red and black yoyo. Cat Noir had stood tall behind her, with his staff in place ready to go at any moment.

"Now Cat Noir, I will take butterfly girl and you take birdy over there, got it!" Ladybug signaled as she charged directly at the girls, with Cat Noir trailing behind her.

"LP! RUN!" Faucon Brun said as she dashed to the side, avoiding Cat Noir's first attack. Ladybug had drove Lady Papillon into the street as the fight continued on, with both new superheros being split apart.

Faucon Brun had used her staff to jump from building to building, but she could sense a familiar cat behind her.

"You have to believe me! I'm not your enemy! Help me prove to you that I'm not an akuma Can't we talk animal to animal?" Faucon Brun screamed as she started close combat fighting with Cat Noir.

"Sorry, but you already fooled me once, and I'm not going to believe you! The only way to prove yourself is to give up your miraculous and show me!" Cat Noir said with a stern voice blocking Faucon Brun's up front attacks.

"We're not like Volpina, and we're not going to reveal our identities, no matter what! Oh well, I guess I'm gonna have to wing it, and go try to find my friend." Faucon Brun said as she was snickering when she blurted out "wing it", along with a burst of laughter. Cat Noir had seen this distraction as an opening, causing him to strike right at her necklace.

"Hahahaha.... Wing it... Ah.... Such a beautiful pun.... Ah.... Can't get enough of my puns... Even though LP thinks that it's sorta funny and annoying at the same time..." Faucon Brun said as she recovered from her fit of giggles, then having to side-step out of the way as Cat Noir lunged for her necklace. She realized the Cat Noir was targeting one thing: Her necklace.

Ladybug was swinging towards Lady Papillon, as LP was swinging away. LP was very mad at herself. She couldn't think of a plan. She knew if she faced Ladybug it was game-over for her and Faucon Brun. She needed to think faster, harder, quicker. They both used their yoyo's to swing across Paris. Lady Papillon needed a plan, to find her partner and fast. She threw her yoyo, but it missed the pole, and she started to fall. Looking at the reflection in the window, she saw Ladybug's hand reach out to grab her. She had almost fell for it, but then realized that her bracelet was on that hand. Ladybug didn't care about saving her, but only trying to stop the supposed 'akuma' within her. Lady Papillon realized something that she completely forgot about. Her wings. Her powers. Her advantage.

(Back To Faucon Brun and Cat Noir, pun partners for life)

As Cat Noir lunges again and again at Faucon Brun's necklace trying to take it, but is starting to take the defensive as Faucon Brun keep her attacks going. She attacked swiftly and quietly, but filled with intense force. On top of a big skyscraper, they continued the battle as both heroes could feel that their time was running out. I need to find Andrea before it's too late, Laila thought. She remembered about her sense of smell, and the rest of her powers. I could track her with my nose, but first I have to stop Cat Noir from attacking me.... Got it, Laila thought. She was going to trap Cat Noir in an air current circle, which was given the name: Aerokinesis. With this, Faucon Brun could trap the black cat without her being bothered, and find LP at the same time. She needed to get Cat Noir into the air, because if she lifted him up by herself then it would give away her powers to early into the fight. Laila had stopped with her attacks and started to run a build up speed, so she could jump from to the next building. Cat Noir was speeding up and was running right into the trap. He predicted that she was going to use her staff to push off the building and onto the next, so he prepared to jump. Grabbing his staff, he used the side of the apartment complex they were fighting on to leap into the air, but he had lost sight of Faucon Brun after she had jumped. In midair, he started to feel as he was slowing down as he got closer to the roof. He looking left and right, then up and down. He had caught sight of the girl, as she had staff in the air and was spinning it like she was twirling a baton. SHe was standing on the fire escape stairs. The air around Cat Noir was starting to formtelo a circle, and it was moving so fast that you could see the streaks of wind passing by. Cat Noir had stopped in the air, and had an astonished look in his face. He was standing in the air, trapped inside a bubble of some sort.

"HEY! LET ME DOWN FROM HERE! YOU CAN'T AND WON'T TAKE MY MIRACULOUS FROM ME!" Cat Noir had screamed slamming his hands against the gale force winds around him.

"I WON'T TAKE YOUR MIRACULOUS, YOU IDIOTIC CAT! CAN'T YOU SEE WE'RE NOT WITH HAWKMOTH?! WE'RE THE GOOD GUYS, JUST LIKE YOU AND YOUR PARTNER!" Faucon Brun hollered back as she was extremely angry on how both Ladybug and Cat Noir were extremely stubborn to understand that they aren't akumatized people.

"Quit your yapping, I have to go and find LP, if you don't mind. And you're coming along for the ride. I think I can smell her scent from her so let's get a move on!" Faucon Brun said as she stopped twirling her staff. If she concentrated hard enough, then she could hold the circle, and find her way back to her friend.

Lady Papillon kept falling down through the air, knowing that she needed to figure out how to use her wings and fly. In seconds, she would become a pancake as she would greet dead with a hard splat. Putting all of focus into her power of flight, she used her last few seconds to blurt out,

"Wings out!" (A/N - We are so sorry, there will be some cringy moments throughout the story).

As she said this, she felt her wings begin to activate, moments away from flattening, she leaned up and flew inches above the hard ground. She flew to the nearest building, after she landed she said,

"Wings in"

Ladybug was at the same roof, miraculously, her jaw dropped and eyes looked amazed on what had occurred. But she quickly recovered from the state of shock she currently was in. She told LP, "You're working with Hawkmoth aren't you? You and your partner."

Lady Papillon was just speechless. She couldn't believed what she was hearing. "WHAT THE HECK DOES THAT MEAN? JUST BECAUSE ME AND HAWKMOTH BOTH LOOK ALIKE AND CONTROL BUTTERFLIES DON'T MEAN I'M WORKING WITH HIM! SOUNDS RACIST TO ME! DON'T ASSUME LADYBUG! WE ARE JUST YOUR FELLOW MIRACULOUS SUPERHEROES! WHO WOULD FIGHT HAWKMOTH TO THE DEATH. But," LP falters, "just because we're knew we're enemies." LP starts to back into the edge of the roof. She continues, "Faucon Brun and I know each other's identities. We've always been alone... We've always had each other's back. Like you and Cat Noir... We look up to the both of you as individuals and how well, you two have mastered your powers. And teamwork. I bet you two have a wonderful life as your civilian forms, but us, our lives have been anything but fun. We've been together for who knows how long. We have a relationship filled with friendship and trust. It is said, in myth, that ladybugs bring good luck. Our lives nothing but bad luck, until Faucon Brun and I met each other, one faithful day. It has been a long time, since we met." Lady Papillon stops for a minute, "No akumatized person has ever said that before right? It's been a rollercoaster ride for my partner and I. If only you believed us, then this would've never happened."

Ladybug looks at LP. Lady Papillon just hopes in the back of her mind, that her emotional backstory had gotten through to Ladybug. It became true, just as she hoped.

"I believe you, Lady Papillon. Although, I just need a little bit more time to comprehend this, and also a little bit of... proof. But that will do for now." Ladybug said holding her hand out, because deep down she knew of somebody that could relate to her situation. That if they needed guidance, she would be their teacher for both girls who both seemed young and fearless. They would finally walk the streets of Paris with new friends and partners, never to feel deserted again.
