A Letter

AN: Hello, next part *does dance*. Sorry just wanted to dance :p.

I woke up and I just sighed.

"What is that matter?" someone asked and it was Hermione.

"Nothing much, just know that something bad is going to happen today." I said and she just looked at me.

"Well, you have me, Harry and Ron with you. So it will be fine." I gave her a smile and got dressed. Me and Hermione went to the Great Hall to have some breakfast and I was trying to look for Dumbledore or Professor McGonagall at the Great Hall.

After 20 minutes of looking for them I finally found Dumbledore so I stood up and walked over to him.

"Umm... Professor Dumbledore after all my classes and homework, can I speak to you. It is about what we discussed yesterday." He looked at me and gave me a nod.

"Go to my office, do you want me to bring Professor McGonagall?" He asked and I gave a nod them went back to my seat. To my surprise Janet sat next to me and I gave her a smug look.

"Hello there Lucy." She said smugly and I just ignored her. "That is rude you do know that right Lucy, ignoring someone." I still ignored her and then I saw Harry and Ron coming in the Great Hall and sat next to them and Hermione followed.

"Hi guys." I said to them.

"Hi Lucy." They both said but Ron said it quite loud while Harry said it quite quiet. I as surprised but just ignored that.

"So, how are you guys?" I asked them.

"I'm fine but we have classes so not so good." Ron said.

"I am feeling great and I can't wait to learn so things." Hermione said.

"A bit embarrassed." Harry said and the took me by surprise.

"Why are you embarrassed?" I asked and he just stayed quiet. We all stayed quiet and then went to class. I handed all my homework in and I had no homework to do so I could talk to them after class.

When I arrived at Dumbledore's office they were both there and I was relived.

"So, why did you need to talk to us?" Dumbledore asked.

"Well, do you know Janet Parksons?" They both nodded. "Well she heard about me and Professor McGonagall talking about the meeting yesterday so she waited for me so I would tell her since she thought I would tell her anything. Well I didn't and she said she will spread rumours about me is I told you guys and bully Hermione if I don't tell her but if I told her after she was bullying Hermione she will still bully her. What should I do?" I explained and they looked shocked.

"Janet Parksons did you say?" I nodded "Strange, her family never did this and how could the sorting hat put her in there she should be in Slytherin." Professor McGonagall said and then looked at Dumbledore.

"Something wrong must be happening then. Since that never happens unless something that person upset him and put them in the house where the family is usually put." Dumbledore explained and we both nodded. Then an idea hit me.

"That could be it and also what if she is jealous of me because she might of noticed how Harry Potter looks at me and how Draco Malfoy looks at me and she fancies them." I said and they both looked at each other and nodded.

"That could be it as well. We will soon find out when the time has come to choose between them." I nodded and sighed. "Well, better go back to the Commom Room then but don't give anything away about you telling us thing Lucy." I nodded and went out of the office. I walked to the Common Room and sat on a sofa.

"Is everything all right?" I turned around to see Harry there and the looked around to see no one else in. I nodded. "You seem a bit off."

"I'm fine, don't worry." I said smiling and looked around for my book. When I found it I saw another hand on it and I looked up to see Hermione.

"We know something is wrong." She said and I sighed.

"Nothing is wrong. Please can I just read my book?" I muttered and they sighed.

"Fine, you can read but tomorrow you are going to tell us what is wrong ok?" I nodded and they went back to their room and I was left alone to read.

I finished the book and then went to my room to put it back into my shelf then changed into my PJs and slept. I woke up and saw Hermione waiting my the door for me and I knew she was there so I wouldn't run away from her. I changed into my robes and walked with Hermione to the Great Hall. I saw owls roaming around and a letter dropped into my table. I opened it and it was from my (foster) parents. It read:

Dear Lucy,

                  Hope you are doing well with your studies and making new friends. Me and your father got a letter from Dumbledore about something happaning to you in the future and you being bullied, please write us a letter back and say if this is true or not.

                   Well, that is all Lucy and HAVE FUN!

When I finished reading that message I sighed.

"See something is wrong. so please tell us." Harry and Hermione said at the same time.

"Fine. I will tell you but I will do it later." Their faces leapt up and I saw Ron looking confused.
