*Maddy's Pov*
I woke up this morning thinking today was going to be a normal day. But then I remembered my best friend is coming over today. I hoped out of bed, I walked over to my dresser and got out my favorite blue jeans and my red plaid shirt.
I heard my Mom calling me from down stairs. Mom: ''Honey come down stairs please''
Me: ''I'm coming!''
I walked down the old wooden stairs as they creaked every step I took. I walked into the kitchen almost tripping over the cat. ''Holly!'' I groaned.
My Mom came around the corner looking a little exited. Mom: ''Honey?''
Me: ''Yeah?''
Mom: ''There's someone at the door waiting for you''.
I walked to the door feeling kind of exited, but nervous too.
I reached out to open the door, I was scared to open it but my curiosity took over me. I grabbed the handle and pulled the door open. I was shocked to see my best friend standing there. My heart was racing I didn't know what to say. I haven't seen her in so long it was hard to say anything.
''Hi-.'' I began to say, but before I could finish she leaned in close to me and hugged me.
Abbi: ''I haven't seen you in so long, I missed u.''
Me: ''I missed you too.''
