*Maddy's Pov*

I'm never going to forgive my self...

What if shes gone forever.

What am I gonna tell my mom?

I can't tell her she went missing.

What am I going to do?

I started to cry.

I have to tell my mom. Maybe the police can fine her.

I ran back home as fast as I could. I stopped a couple times thinking that I could hear Abbi's voice.

I opened the house door almost slamming it shut.

''Mom!'' I yelled

Mom: "Yes hun?''

I started to cry.

Mom: ''Hun whats wrong?''

I opened my mouth to speak but I was to upset.

I broke down in tears.

Mom: ''Hun, you ok?''

Me: ''Mom...'' I began to say.

Me: ''You know how Abbi and I went outside to explore?''

Mom: ''Yes.''

Me: "Well... You see... Abbi... Went missing."

Mom: "What do you mean?"

Me: "Abbi went missing."

Mom: "Where did she go?"

Me: "I don't know."

Me: "She trued the corner at the end of the street and when I turned the corner she wasn't there. It was just a dead end.

Mom: "I will call the police, don't worry hun they will find her." She says with a worried smile.

My mom picks up her phone and dials 911 number. I sat at the table wondering where Abbi is. The moment of Abbi turning the corner just keeps replaying over and over again in my mind. I can't help but feel like it was my fault. I listen to my mom talking to the girl on the phone.

Mom: "Yes she's 14 and she was staying at our house for a while."

911 Person: "What time did she go missing?"

Mom: "I don't know, but my daughter does, Hun."

Me: "Yes mom?"

Mom: "What time was it when Abbi went missing."

 Me: "1:30."

My mom goes back to talking to the 911 person.

Mom: "My daughter says 1:30 was when she went missing."

911 Person: "Ok I will send out some cops to try and find her."

Mom: "Thank you so much."

My mom sounded worried again.

Me: "Mom?"

Mom: "Yes honey?" She said with a sigh.

Me: "Will we ever fine Abbi?" I said with tears running down my face.

Mom: "Of course we will  sweetie, I know we will."
