Chapter 9

Hazels POV

All I wanted to do was in-shift and run up to him, but I couldn't and wouldn't. If I would then every boy/girl here would know my secret, and I couldn't do that, when we lived on the ranch, Cole had never wanted to break-in any of the wild mustangs that was on our ranch. He's changed for the worst and I won't become weak for him to take.

As we neared a lake I could see the water was only about 8 feet deep at the deepest part. The two boys holding my ropes started to wade into the water and I fallowed.

One I was all situated so I couldn't run, or swim in my case, away Pan asked who would go first.

"Can I Pan?" A little 10 year old asked. He nodded once and then came wadding into the water.

Of course I was going to let here have her fun, I mean shes 10. I'm not going to scare her.

She struggled onto my back so I turned my head and pushed her up with my massif head. She started to giggle like crazy and I tossed my head up and lat out a whinny.

"All right, my turn!" One of the taller boys who was holding me sneered. He tied my rope around one of the taller trees.

The little girl slid off my back and swam to shore as the boy neared me. I nipped at him and he swatted my nose.

When I could feel his weight on my back I let all hell break lose. I was bucking, rearing and even went under water.

Once his weight was off my back a gave the other boys my 'who's next that was fun' look.

By the time everyone but pan had gone I was worn out, my mane and tail were noted and my feet were cloaked with mud.

They started to untie me and lead me out of the water. Once I was out Pan neared me and I was to tired to care what he did.

But that doesn't mean it didn't surprise me, and he handed me and Apple. I happily ate it seance I haven't eaten all day.

Once we got to camp the boys tied me to a tree then they all went to bed. I started to munch on the bitter tasting but I was so hungry it tasted moist and sweet.

Later that night right before I was about to go to bed Cole came up to me and started to pat my neck.

"You were a good girl today." He cooed and reached into his pocket and pulled out two sugar cubes. He gave one to me then one to Kathy.

When he came back over to me he pulled a curry comb out of his pocket and started to brush me. It felt good to have my shinny black coat back.

When he had finished he pocketed the brush and gave me one last pat before he left to his hammock.

When he had settled down I laid down and let darkness over take me.

Oh I'm thinking bout righting a new book it's bout a girl who is everything country am then she finds out her real parents are royalty in England and she goes and lives there, DRAMA, ADVENTURE, EXCITING!!! please tell me why u think so I know if I should right it!!!
