Dipper Pines sat impatiently at his desk, waiting for the school day to end. He glanced over to his sister, Mabel, who couldn't wait for summer to start. Mabel was a lot happier now that her teeth were finally perfect.

Mabel's POV
"Yay! Last day of school!" I shouted. "No more braces!" "This day can't end soon enough!" My brother grumped. "Hang in there, Bro-Bro, we'll be out of here in no time!" I'm not sure why Dipper is so grumpy. It's the last day of school! Not only that, the last day of Middle School! We're gonna be going to High School!

Dipper's POV
I wish I could just skip to the end of the day. We'll finally be ready to go back to Gravity Falls! I wonder if it's changed since we were there last year.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the bell rang, allowing us to escape this prison. Goodbye Middle school, hello Gravity Falls!

Later that day, Mabel and I packed our bags. Of course Mabel packed half her room into her bags, but I was more sensible. While packing, I came across a slip of paper I haven't seen in months... It was Wendy's letter to me.

A tidal wave of emotions swept over me. I thought I had completely gotten over her, but apparently not. Just under that, I found a crumpled piece of yellow paper. I gasped. "Oh no, not this paper!"

Mabel's POV
While Dipper was packing his things, I was deciding what to bring...
(A little while later)
"All done! Whew, that took a lot more energy than I thought. Well, I should go check on Dipper." I said to myself, resting my hands to the side. I proceeded to waltz over to my brother's room. I have a quick knock on his door.
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

"Dipper?" I said from the other side of his door. I opened the door on my own, and greeted my brother accordingly. "Hey hey, Bro-Bro! How's it going?" Dipper was standing in the middle of the room, perfectly still like a statue. "Dipper? You okay, buddy?" "Yep" he whispered. His head sank. "What's wrong?" I asked, walking over to comfort him. When I looked down, I saw the cause of his sorrow.

"Oh... That." I murmured. "You still thinking about Wendy?" I tried to be sincere, wrapping my arm around his shoulder. "I can't stop thinking about her. I know we're only 'friends' but I guess I never... Moved on." He uttered, with tears rolling down his face. "It's okay, Dipper. I'm here if you need me." Thanks, Mabel." Dipper looks over at the clock. "We should probably go" he said frantically, shoving the papers into his rucksack.
