The judge banged his gavel and firmly bellowed, "Guilty!" I couldn't breathe. How long would my sentence be? Five years? Ten? Maybe even 20?"
"You are hereby sentenced 50 years in prison, without parole!" The judge announced. 'It was never supposed to be this way...'Flashback
'I'm so scared'
I am on 100 Main Street, Beatty, Nevada. There is a woman in front of me. She has bruises on her neck, and is bleeding on the back of her head, from her abdomen, and in the middle of her chest.
'I think I know her..." I thought reaching for her license that had been on the ground, with no purse in sight.(Picture above is her)

Eyes: Blu Gra"Cory?!" I cried, tears forming in my eyes. As I went to wipe my eyes I noticed a knife on the ground, with blood starting to stain on it. I had been drunk, maybe a little bit too drunk, before I came out here. I got kicked out of the restaurant, 'Happy Burro Chili & Beer'. I have her blood on my hands, as I cry on my knees.
Flashback End
"W-what?" I asked, as the policemen started to escort me out "I-I was set up! I did NOT kill her!"
'This is ridiculous!' I thought outraged 'All they want to do is to place the blame on someone so there won't be as much panic amongst the public!'.
I was at the wrong place at the wrong time. But the judge, jury, and everyone else thinks otherwise.
Keeping my head down as the bailiff walked me out, I had tears threatening to fall out of the brim of my eyes. Walking shamefully past the bar and audience, out of the courtroom. There was a 32 News cameraman in the front where I could see, but there were others filming. 'I can't believe this is actually happening'. Two months of court for nothing in my benefit, along with the worrying of if the judge and jury declare me guiltily for the four days after the trial. The trial for my friend that was murdered by the cause of being strangled and stabbed after being unconscious from forced head trauma.
After walking through the crowd of protesters, news cast, and other people we got to the police car. I was pushed into the back of the car. They put the sirens on for the car, you could see the tint of blue and red flashing on the crowd and it slightly reflecting on the outside of the car. We all sped off to to the Nye County Corrections Office.
'Please... please, please, find the actual person that killed her... find the person that murdered my friend... please'
I rested my head on the window of the car.
