It has been five years. Mitch is leaving this terrible place. Right now, he's packing up his stuff.
" Hope you have a good life, Mitch" I told him.
"Thanks, hope you get out, and the guy who murdered murdered your friend comes in, I will try to visit you" he replied.
"Thanks, now, what are you still here for? Go on and live your life" I encouraged.
"Haha, okay okay, I'm going, see ya during visiting hours" he replied.
He gave me one last look before exiting the cell. Well, back to being lonely, he was my only friend here.

It's been a year since Mitch left, he visits almost every Saturday. He got a girlfriend six months after he left too, I'm glad he's living his life. My cell door opened, two guards just walked in.
"Jack, you're going to have to come with us" one of them ordered.
The second one with handcuffs came up to me and put them on.
"What's going on?" I asked.
"We have reason to believe that you are not the murder of Cory Striker, we have found some evidence to prove you innocent" the first guard informed.
I nodded as we kept walking. We all got into the police car.

I'm on my second trial for the homicide. I'm my actually get out of jail. I just want the person who killed her locked up.
"Mr. Brinn, do you know if Ms. Striker had a purse the day of her death?" My lawyer asked.
"I do not know if she had her purse, but she did have her driver's license" I answered truthfully "if she did have her purse, it was stolen, maybe by the person that actually did it".
"Thank you, Mr. Brinn, you may leave the stand" my lawyer called out.
