Heart attack and Heartbreak

Mark's PoV

It was time for everyone to leave, Pax had just ended and everyone was going home. My friends had already left to go to their hotels leaving me here. I didn't mind though, I have more time to talk to fans! I love meeting my fans and watching them smile when they see me, I love how they tell me their stories of how I saved their lives even though I don't deserve such praise I still appreciate their support. I had just signed a Tiny Box Tim plushy for a little boy when I got jumpscared by an Irish devil. "TOP OF THE MORNIN TO YA MARKY!!!" I screamed as Jack yelled from behind me. "Dammit Sean! You almost gave me a heart attack!" I said while pushing his shoulder playfully. "I regret nothing!" I laughed at his stupidity. "Today was fun! I can't wait for the next panel." He said smiling. "Me too! All those fanboys and fangirls freaked out when we hugged!" We both laughed and talked more as we exited the building, when we got to the parking lot out back my heart sank when I once again had to come to terms with what I was about to see again. Signe, Jack's girlfriend, was waiting patiently by his car like she does every year after Pax. Jack gave me a quick hug and waved goodbye like he does every year. Before they leave he gives her a quick kiss and gets in the car like he does every year. And once again I stand alone smiling because I am happy for him, he loves her. I wave to him as they pull out of the parking lot smiling, but when he's out of sight I let my walls down as a tear freely runs down my cheek. Still smiling because he's happy with her.
