I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing.

I grabbed my phone from my nightstand.

Zack: I forgot to tell you the party starts at 10:00.
A: oh okay, I'll see you later
Zack: k

It was barely 11:00.

I went downstairs and grabbed a small white bowl. I grabbed some cereal and milk.

I grabbed out my phone and checked my social media.

"Get of your phone" my dad said
"But it's summer and I'm by myself"
"Still no phones at the table"
"Bu-"
"I will take away your phone"

I rolled my eyes and walked towards the sink.

I walked back to my room and watched freaks and geeks.

12:00

"I'm so bored" I screamed.
"Then clean your room" my dad screamed.
"But it's summer"
"I don't care"

Why is my dad so strict he doesn't let me do anything.

I decided to read a little.

9:30

I started to get ready for the party.
I took a quick shower.

I picked out a black and white striped crop top, ripped jeans. I grabbed my black hightop dr martens.
I put my hair half up half down bun.

I grabbed my phone to check the time.
10:00.

I didn't want to get there to early so I went downstairs to watch east of Eden.

"Where are you going"
"To a party with my friends"
"You can't go" my dad said
"But you let star go to a party"
"I don't care. Today I just want to chill at home"
"What do you mean chill at home. First of all it's summer, second it's like 10:00 so you already chilled and lastly you won't have to take me"
"You can't go"
"Why not"
" I don't have to explain to you, I'm the boss of the house go to your room"

I rolled my eyes and walked to my moms room.

"Mom can I go to a party"
"Yeah"
"Yes. But dad said I couldn't"
"Oh well sorry you can't"
"Can't you tell him to let me go"
She didn't say anything.
"You know not only dad is in charge of this house. You never stand up for yourself, you always let dad take control"

I rolled my eyes and walked towards my room.

I took out my phone and texted River.
A: hey meet me at my window, do NOT go to my front door.
River😊: why not.
A:I'll explain it to you once you get to my window.

River reached my window and i told him what happened.
"Oh"
"Ya lets go"

We reached Zacks house.
I opened the door to see the house filled with people.

"Hey Abby" Zack screamed.
"Hey"
"So the drinks is over here" he said pointing to the kitchen "and the snacks are over here" he said pointing at the dinning room table.
"Okay"
"Well I'll see you later" he smiled and winked at me.
"K"

"Are you sure your not dating" River asked
"Ya"

"Hey there". A girl with long blond hair and a tight short black dress said.
"Hey" River smiled at her.

Well it's for sure he doesn't like me.

She walked up to him and put one hand on his chest and the other holding a red cup.

"Hey. What your name" she said.
"River. And yours?"
"Tana"

"I'm going to go" I said, it was awkward

As I was walking I saw a guy with short brown hair to match his eyes. He was cute but I mean not as much as River. River was something else

"Hey" he said.
"Hi" I wasn't very good with flirting.
"What's your name?"
"Abby. Yours"
"James Franco"
" do you want to sit down" he said pointing to the couch.
"Sure"

We were talking for hours. We couldn't stop laughing.

"So why are you here by yourself?" He asked.
"Well I'm with a friend he over-" I looked at River to see him making out with tana. I couldn't believe my eyes.
"Are you okay" James said as he put his hand on top of mine.
"Ya" I kept my head down.
He put his hand on my chin and leveled our face. He leaned in, and just as we were about to kiss someone on grabbed my arm and pulled me away.

I turned to see River mad.
"What are you doing?"
"We're leaving"
"Why did you do that"
"Because I don't want to see you with another guy"
"You made out with Tana"
"That's different"
"Just leave me alone"

I ran out the door and headed back to my house.

I quietly opened my bedroom window, no one noticed I was gone, what a surprise.
