Ch 22 - Flower Power

So you are calling in sick at school to work for Mr. Eoki. Rias is buttered up by your breakfast treat but how long will that last? You have go motives of why but you didn't consider asking your girlfriend. And their was much concern.

Rias got dresses to see if what was going on downstairs. She was feeling rather well after spoiling her to breakfast in bed. But she got down the stairs and saw your empty seat.

That's right. Said he had to take off. Wait a minute. To where? "Anyone know where he went?" She asked everyone at the table.

"Thought he was with you." Thought Issei.

"I saw him leave but you think he went to school early?" Pondered Xenovia.

"I have my doubts. But if he's not in homeroom inform me."

Meanwhile the cash drawer was put in place and you flipped the sign that said open and not closed. Then to go behind the store into the fenced garden to inspect the daily delights. Roses, tulips, sunflowers, and everything in between.

As you began slowly watering you starred at a unique rose. A rare one of both black and white. An Osiris rose.

Oh Rias. I feel bad lying to you but I'm not okay with going to school and doing small time crap with you carrying a baby. I need to toughen up and be a man. And to a point level the field. On paper I'm not worthy enough for you. But dam woman I'll try. You deserve a ring, house, and to be taken care of with a little one. So far I suck at it. If I wasn't here with Mr. Eoki I couldn't support a goldfish let alone a baby. But this rose. Tonight I add to that collection.

"Hey (FN) how's the watering?" Called his boss.

"Pretty good this early. Be in there in ten."

You get back to the garden hose and continue watering the plants. But who knew what chaos today would bring. Being a flower shop with a good reputation came great business. Yet also great challenges such as deadlines, deliveries, and most importantly not quitting until the said person was happy.

You walked back in the store and closed the back doors. Customers were inside having a browse.

"So Mr. Eoki we a delivery list going on?"

"Haha my boy I have a whole list. Top being most priority. Think you can reach them?"

I wish I could tell the guy that I can teleport with summoning circles but that wouldn't fly to well. "I think I could do a good chunk of it."

"That's my boy. Now we have a few pages of clients. Get through one you're decent, two is good, three you worked your ass off. Your check will differ. No pressure son."

Game has changed. At first I thought I could do summoning requests too but let's bang out these pages. Cause this man needs to get paid.

"Issei you think he'll come?" Asked Asia.

"Class started minutes ago. He's up to something I bet."
