Wanda paced in the room.  Daisy let her stay in a white room where most inhumans stayed.  That was good.  The room had been designed so that it couldn't be destroyed if someone lost control of their powers.  Wanda felt she was included in that list.  Anne had promised to teach her magic, and she had.  Wanda's hands still tingled and her head pounded from the overfill of information.  With her telepathic powers, she had been in other people's minds.  She had found their deepest desires and darkest secrets.  However, no one had been in her mind.  It felt odd.  Like she had been infected with a virus.  She now had access to power she could never imagine.  She knew where Steve and Natasha were, and how to find them.  That's what she wanted.
Someone knocked on the door, with out looking, she knew it was Anne.  Wanda unlocked the door and it slid open.  Shannon came in.  "I figured you wouldn't be asleep."
"There's just a lot on my mind."  Wanda said sleepily.  A lot.
"I think its the same for everyone.  We've been going non stop."  Shannon said, sitting down on the edge of the bed.  Wanda stopped pacing but didn't sit down.  "How do you do it?"
"Do what?"
"Magic?"
"Oh.  HYDRA used the stone to give me magic, and I just keep learning more."
"But you can't find them?"
"I have an idea.  But we need her in a really good mood."
Shannon laughed.  "Or drunk."
"She's been drinking the entire time we've been here."
"Yeah.  Bad plan."  Shannon said.  They sat in silence.  The clock next to the bed read 4: 27 am.  Wanda wasn't going to get any sleep.  Nor was Shannon.  And she doubted that either Sam or Bucky had fallen asleep.

At five, almost everyone on the base was awake and it seemed most of them were in the kitchens.  Wanda stayed out of the way and more or less out of sight.  No one noticed her or Anne sitting in the shadows.  Wanda noticed that Anne had two bottles of whiskey.  That had to burn her throat.
"So is it true?"  An agent asked, his name was Fitz.
"What?"  Another agent asked, Agent May.  She seemed to be the Director's right hand man...or rather, woman.
"The Avengers, Scarlet Witch and Falcon.  Jemma told me last night.  Oh and the Winter Soldier."  He said.
"Yeah, right along with the fiercesom pirate Anne Bonny," Daisy said, coming into the kitchen with her hand in Anya's.  Wanda noticed Anne smile.  It seemed, at least for Anne, that the past was still her future.  Anya saw them and ran over.  She immediately climbed into her mother's arms.
"Oh.  And they're right there."  Fitz said, walking over.  Anne drank some more from her first bottle of whiskey.  "I'm a really big fan'" he looked pointedly at Anne.  "So, what's it like on a pirate ship?"  He leaned against the wall with an outstretched hand.
"I'll fucking brake your arm off if you don't back away."  Anne spoke in a hoarse whisper.  Wanda noticed a small pocket knife in her hand under the table.  Fitz didn't see the knife but he backed away, putting his hands up in a platicing guesture.
"Sorry love, didn't mean to scare you.  Were you really hanging?"  He asked.  Anne didn't respond but her hands started shaking again.  She seemed to be scared.  Wanda couldn't imagine what it was like to have a noose around her neck or what it was like to survive such a thing.  "Alright, you don't talk much.  You know the history books talk about you have a kid, born in Cuba.  Is Jack the father?  She doesn't say much, does she?"
Wanda shook her head.  "Would you if your throat was almost completely crushed?"
"Guess you have a point there."  Fitz said.  He grabbed a chair and pulled it close.  Close enough to speak quietly but still out of the range of Anne's knife.  Perhaps he did know about it.  "It's just cool.  Did you know that pirates were actually quite honorable."  Wanda didn't know much about pirates.  She often had to go with Steve to stop some pirates from taking over a freight ship.  She didn't consider those men honorable.
'No.  I didn't."  Wanda said.
"Live by the code, die by the sword."  Anne said quietly.
"Yeah."  Fitz said.  "Didn't you lot take the code quite seriously?"  Anne nodded just slightly.  "So how did you land here?"
"That's the question of the day."  Wanda said.  'One where no one has the answer."  Anne looked down at her daughter who was sleepily messing with a napkin.  "Right next to where did Steve and Natasha go?"
Fitz shrugged.  "I'd help you if I could.  But I'm just a mercenary, not really even a real SHIELD agent.  Nice to meet the both of you."  He took off.  Anne leaned back further into the shadows.  That short conversation probably strained Anne's already lacking social skills.
Most of the agents ate their breakfast, giving them little or no regard.  Wanda started making breakfast, with Anya's help of course, after the kitchen was clear.  "Does Anya never speak?"  Wanda asked, setting a plate of pancakes in front of Anne.  Anne shrugged which could have been a no, yes, or maybe.

They had just finished their breakfast when Bucky came in with a short haired woman in a white lab coat.  "Wanda, how long would it take you to suit up?"
Wanda was confused at the question.  "All of my gear is in the quinjet."
"Grab it."  Bucky ordered.  Anne stood up, her hand resting on the hilt of a sword held to her waist by a leather belt.  How had Wanda missed that?
'I'm sorry Anne, your injuries will never heal if you re injure yourself."  The woman said.
"Let her go.  She's fought Germans with a bloodied, broken leg, I'm sure a couple of inhumans will be no big deal."
