→ This is story won't follow the original anime and the setting.
→ This is set on present time, and the characters will have slight changes as the story goes on.
→ Old readers of this story, I am sorry. This new book will contain a different plot, but our main protagonist, Felichia will remain as well as the other characters that I have introduced from the start. (David chandler and the owner)
Now that's all out of the way, let's begin!
——————————————————————————————————————————————————————
"Watch where you're going kid," a man in his late 30's suddenly yelled in annoyance.
I quickly apologized to the man before I bent down to pick up the things that has fallen from the plastic bag. I lamented on my small luck, these groceries are too heavy and the plastic bag is so thin...
After picking up the last item, I immediately noticed that the sky was getting darker. I started to walk again towards the main street. I did a last check before I continue my way back to the orphanage, however, I can't seem to find the envelope...
The envelope that had the extra money in it!
'I better hurry up! Mama (who I also call Maria from time to time) needs me to help prepare dinner for the younglings and I also have the groceries with me. But the money! Where is it?!!'
I bent down and frantically tried to look for it everywhere, I also tried retracing my steps, but I wasn't able to find it!
I feel a headache coming and my palms began to sweat from worry. I need to find that envelope, or else my conscience won't let me eat for months! I cry myself mentally.
I know I am being harsh on myself right now. Honestly— Mama wouldn't mind if I lost some of the cash, as long as I am safe, then she doesn't mind what happens with it.
And if she ever finds out that I was starving myself from guilt, then I bet you a million bucks that she would shove a load of food in my mouth, and get my ass scolded for 10 minutes. Wait... maybe only a coin, I'm poor...
'People might confuse me for a weirdo if I continue crawling to look for the envelope.' I thought as I propped myself back up.
"Miss, is this yours?" A voice spoke.
It sounded near,
I swiftly turned to look at the person.I saw a man with blonde hair and what appears to be green highlights; and piercing blue eyes.
He looks like an actual royal!
However, the way he is dressed shows that he is a businessman. But it is impossible.
He looked to be a year older than me, and the way he stood there made me feel insecure. Which is rare, because I think I have a good self esteem.
I then turned to my grey hoodie and black sweatpants, I take it back. I probably— No, I definitely look like an old woman right now.
No hate on old people, I think they're great! Most of them have served in the military and full of great advices.
Speaking of old people, I need to visit them at their nursing home. Oh how great it would be to get some tips for future meals from them—
"Are you deaf?" The man gave me a deadpanned expression.
"Umm... excuse me?" I pointed at myself, making sure that he was referring to me and not some random person behind me.
