|Storybrooke 1993|
❇"Mommy?" asked a sweet little girl.
"Yes dear?" answered a beautiful lady with semi short hair dressed in an office attire.
"Who are my real parents?" The girl queried, her voice cracking a bit.
"I-i--" the lady stuttered, she avoided this question every single time. "I honestly don't Know. " The continued.
"Oh." Henrietta, the little girl said.
"Alright then, I promise that when you come home from School, everyone will know you as Henrietta Coraline Mills, my ever so beautiful daughter. What about that to make it up to you?" Regina said proudly, causing the both of them to giggle.
"Yes! Thank you mommy! You really know how to cheer me up! I love you!" Henrietta said as she hugged her mother sweetly.
"You're welcome. Now go to school before you get late." Regina tells her daughter.
"Alright mom, bye!" said Henrietta, waving.
"Bye-bye sweetie, take care!" said Regina as she waved back
Regina sighed to herself as she went inside her car.Time skip- after school
"Hi Henrietta!"
"Look mom, it the mayor's Daughter"
"Henri! Over here!" Regina called after her daughter.
"Mom! They know! How?" Henri greeted her mother.
"That's not important. I have a surprise for you. Come inside the car." Regina replied as they drove to the cemetery.
---
"Mom, what are we doing here?" The girl asked, tilting her head slightly.
"You'll see. Follow me." Regina simply stated, smiling. They entered her father's tomb.
"What are we doing here in grandpa's grave?" Henri asked again.
Regina didn't say anything, she just moved her father, revealing a hidden staircase.
"Cmon, Hen. Don't be afraid" Regina said as she stretched her arm. The little girl hesitantly took it.
When they finally reached the bottom, there was a room filled with, what Henrietta could remember, magical equipment.
"Welcome to my vault." Regina said as they entered.
"I was going to bring you here to teach you magic, but it was dangerous if you blew the whole place up." Regina said, causing the both of them to giggle at the memory of her first attempt at using magic. Yes, she has magic and she's amazing at it. Regina was still trying to figure out why Henrietta had magic even if they were in a land without magic.
"I brought you here because it's been ten years, and you deserve to know who you're parents are." Regina said, making Henrietta gasp in joy.
"Thank you so much mom! You have no idea how much this means to me." Henri replied choking a bit as she was crying in joy. They hugged for a moment and then Regina got a dream catcher.
"This will take the memory of your birth so that you can see it, you don't need to remember it just think about the time you were born." Regina said. Henrietta just nodded and did as she was told.
And the dream catcher showed the time of her birth and who gave birth to her. The woman who gave birth to her shocked both Henrietta and Regina.
"No, this can't be possible." Regina said in disbelief.
Henrietta just stood there, still in shock.
"Get out. Now!" Regina, more like the Evil Queen shouted at Henrietta.
"Please go and get as far away from me before I change my mind and kill you!" Regina was battling with the Evil Queen at the time to let Henri escape.
"I'm sorry." Henrietta mouthed at Regina.
She just nodded.
"Now go!" she shouted.
And Henrietta ran as far away as she could traveling through different places with the name, Gothel.
And that my dears is how the story of Zora/ Mother Gothel started.
