AN: Guys, this is the last chapter..so please enjoy, and try not to kill me. *hides*
I hate the way the suit feels on me, the way it makes it hard to breathe. I look once more in the mirror, I think I look okay. My eyes however, give away my nerves.
I am marrying a beautiful woman today. Lia. My Lia, with her crystal eyes, sarcastic attitude, and ninja skills. I love everything about her, and I plan to say so in my vows. I wrote them late last night, err..early this morning actually. I couldn't sleep, not with the herd of elephants stampeding in my insides.
I don't like chick flick moments, hate them actually. Today however, is going to be a different story. I know that I will have all the feelings guys have when the doors open, and their beautiful bride walks in. No bride
could ever compare to Lia.
"Hey, you ready?" Sam asks, from the other side of the door.
"Yeah, Sammy give me a few more minutes." I read over the notecards with my vows scribbled on them, one last time.
"My beautiful Lia, we both know I suck with words, so here is my best try to make these vows mean something. The first time we met, I didn't think much of you, I saw you as another pain in my ass. You quickly proved to be just that. In a good way. I wanted to figure out the mystery that is you. I just never knew that along the way I would fall in love, with the badass bitch who fought a demon by herself. But, I did. Fall in love, and now instead of being Lia Bridgestone, the badass bitch. You will be Lia Winchester, MY badass bitch."
I crack a smile, and with just another quick glance in the mirror, walk out to find my brother waiting for me, in an identical suffocating suit. To my somewhat pleasure, he looks just as uncomfortable.
"Hey, you good?" Sammy asks.
I nod, "Sammy, I'm about to get married, which is strange."
He smiles. "Who knew after everything, that you would be the first wedded Winchester brother?"
"I didn't. I didn't even think I would ever meet someone worth marrying."
"Well, Dean, I am glad you met Lia. I like her, she is good for you." Sammy says.
"I have you to thank Sammy, you were the one who wanted her to stick around." I pat his shoulder.
"Oh yeah! I remember that! Well, your welcome. We need to probably get to the altar."
I nod in agreement, and we head down several maze like hallways to the wooden doors, that Lia would walk through soon. I look around the small room. We didn't have many friends, if any, so I am not shocked when there are only a handful of people in dressy attire standing around.
"Oh there's the groom!" Mama Venus, the strip club owner from Iowa, called out. We were met with a flurry of excitement, as the guests all came up to congratulate me.
I couldn't breathe as Bobby told me and Sam to stand at the end of the small runway. I never looked away from the wooden doors, even when from the corner of my eye I saw guests settling in their spots.
I hear movement from behind the doors, and one flies open, a huffing and puffing Jeff runs into the room.
"Dean...quick...now...Lia..." He said gasping for air.
Those words sink in fast, and I run past the guests, past a still struggling to breath Jeff, and past the doors. I know exactly which room Lia had been using, so with Sam running behind me, I run through the hallways.
After what seems like forever, we reach her door. It is opened only a crack. I push it open, and nearly pass out, tears instantly stinging my eyes. I hear my brother take a sharp intake of breath when he walks in too. I fall to my knees.
All the room is seeping with blood splatters. Lia was nowhere to be found. Her wedding gown, was still on the mannequin, now covered in crimson blood like the rest of the room.
The worst part is there is a messege written in blood.
"Sorry Dean. -Aegean"
I get up and start to trash the room in my anger, I see red that is not the blood of my beloved Lia.
"Dean.." Sam's voice is small like a child's. He hands me a piece of paper.
Unfolding the piece of notebook paper, I notice Lia's handwriting.
"My dearest Dean, I love you. It's that simple. I love the way you smile, the way your hair gets messy when you run your fingers through it, I love the way your eyes light up when you see me. It makes me feel special. That day I got to meet you was the luckiest day of my life, because we got to meet. Sure, you annoyed me at first, with your eighties music always blaring, and your questions. I wouldn't trade that day for the life of me. Today I become Mrs. Dean Winchester, and I couldn't be happier. Because, I love you."
The tears instantly fall staining the paper. I read her words, and know that her warm hand had scribbled them down, and that she was talking about me. It killed me.
I didn't know what to do.
Lia was gone.
AN: Please put done your pitchforks and torches. I'm sorry. This was a hard chapter to write. Because, well, I cried too. But, it gets better I promise, because...
I'M GONNA WRITE A SEQUEL!
I'm not sure when I will be able to work on it, but soon I promise!
