Author's Notes: Tell me what you think about the story. Hahaha. I've written this one ages ago. Finally decided to put it up. Bleehh. Thanks in advance!

PROLOGUE

It’s been half a century after the Great War between the Kingdom of Aria, and its rival kingdom, the Nation of Raveshaw. Both kingdoms had been rivals over the magical scriptures of the gods that can grant anyone their deepest desires. One Country from the Kingdom of Aria had sided with the rivaling Ravenshaw, and has now ceased in existence. And now, fear about another war has been prophesized. Only a true noble can stand out and claim the Magical Scriptures of the Gods. It may be for the use for good, or for evil.

Rein’s POV:

“Your Highness! The grand ball is almost starting. You should be dressed for your birthday party!” Celsia, my lady-in-waiting, cried out as she chased me onto the veranda.

Today was finally my 18th birthday. And by that, I’m finally going to be recognized as a real woman by society. Yes, I’m excited being as such; but I can’t stand boring parties where you’ll only dance, stare at people, compliment their dresses and have useless chit-chats that go on like, forever.

“Can’t I just at least take 5 minutes to find Sylvester?” I whined.

Sylvester, my lovely horse.

“But Princess, your birthday party would begin soon enough. Even the Queen’s been growing impatient for your tardiness!”

“Tell her I’ll be there in 10.”

“Princess – “

“I swear!”

“I think I’ll take it from here Celsia.” A new voice spoke.

It was my older brother, Vincent. How typical of him to appear in just a nick of time.

“But Prince Vincent, the Queen had strictly given me orders to attend to Princess Rein this instant –“ She was cut short when Vincent came up to her and gave her a little peck in the cheeks. She immediately turned beet red. I rolled my eyes at his flirtatious gesture.

“O..kay…. I- if you say so, Prince… Vincent.” She started to stammer. She finally gave up and headed towards the door. She was now long gone, thanks to my flirty brother.

“I wonder what would Allison think about that little peck you give to almost every girl you meet. Bet she would be infuriated.” I mumbled.

“Can’t you just give me a simple, thank you? I mean, are those words so hard to speak aloud?” he joked.

“Very funny. And, is your hobby of popping in and about every time I’m half naked still on going? Cause as far as I’m concerned, you’re not allowed to do that. Especially now that I’m a fully grown woman!” I glared.

“And that’s why I hate the idea of you growing up. You being all mature is getting boring.” He retorted.

“Then why not just barge into Allison’s room and keep a brief look of whatever goods she has?”

“Aww. Is my little sister being insecure of Allison’s great, elegant and mature beauty?”

“Keep that up and you’ll meet my fist any second now.” I snapped.

“I was just kidding, Rei.” He laughed. "Just get out of my room and then help me find Sylvester after I get changed." I snorted.

“Sure.” He smiled and walked out of my chambers.

My typical annoying older brother. Sigh.

I turned and faced my bed where a glimmering blue gown was prepared. It was long, elegant and glittery - not really my type of dress. Surely it's my mother who prepared this dress from the looks of things. She can never really get my tastes right.

Having my mother scold me for my punctuality isn't what I'd like to have as a start for my evening. So I hurriedly put on the dress and headed out for the door; wishing for something good to happen this evening.

Recalling the plan with my brother, I immediately headed out to his chambers - his promise with me to look together for Sylvester, still evident in my mind.
