Lourde's POV

I felt tears building up I couldn't take my eyes off of the person that swung the door open to save us, I hope. I looked over at Abby with a tear slowly striping my red cheek, she was so shocked. Her mouth was open and so were her eyes. I swallowed and turned back to face... Joey. More tears pored down causing him to close the door but leaving a little crack open and take a couple steps closer to me. I started shaking my head getting haunted by the time I last saw him tonight, almost burning or killing him. I do not regret that. He extended him hand towards me. In his palm were too things, a gun and a black jar. "The gun's for you. Because I know you can't fight with your powers right now because your tired. The jar is the cure for Melannie. I know what you're thinking that it's a trick. But I promise, it's not. I know you don't trust me but do it for Melannie, Abby, Natalia whose out there fighting really hard trying to keep you guys alive, and those two boys with her. One last thin before I let you go, I-I-..." He hesitated, "I may have liked Amber, but... Y-you're the one I Lo-love." He looked down with his arms still holding the gun and the jar. I got so mad when he said "You're the one I love." I walked over to him pushing him over causing him to drop the jar and the gun. I kept on walking to the door opened it a little before I looked down over my shoulder and commanded Abby, "Come on, and... take them wit you." "Okay, but take the gun please!" She pleaded so I took the gun off the ground and held it up right before we opened the door. "One...two...th-" I was counting when she interrupted pushing the door wide open. We saw Natalia almost punching Amber, though when we opened the door everyone just froze and her fist was an inch away from Amber's cheek.

Natalia's POV

I stopped when the door flung wide open. It seemed like everything froze as soon as it opened. Lourde was carefully examining everything and everybody while Abby just stood behind her trying to not get in the fight that's just about to begin. I still had amber's shirt curled up, and that was holding her still in one hand. The other was busy with the half punch. With a gun in her hand, Lourde cautiously lifted both her hands up and started clamping slowly, walking towards Amber and me. She stopped clapping just as she got in front of Amber. I looked at Amber to see her demon eyes are gone, her regular hazel eyes are back. "No more crying I'm done. You may have won that time, but not now." Said Lourde bitterly looking deeply into Amber's eyes. "I'm sick of 'saving people'. Tonight I'm trying out something new. And you will be the victim of my experiment." Everyone seemed so interested when those words came out of Lourde's, what I'd call blue lips. I looked over at Abby that wasn't there anymore. Oh come on! My eyes skimmed the room, she isn't here anymore!

Abby's POV

It's really silent in here. I don't know where I am or why I'm here. Darkness is all I see. Soft tapping began, it grew loader and loader every second of me trying to wake up. I finally fluttered my eyes to see the unexpected. Sitting right there in a corner was the bright eyed boy that I have forgotten about... Estephan. I'm still processing. I looked around, we're in a room that has white walls, a yellow light is on, and that's all. I examined the room a little more when I looked over to Estephan's corner. I started above his head, white wall going down then a stain of blood and finally the silent Estephan carefully looking at me. The tapping noise, I figured, was his fingers on the ground. "Estephan?" I finally spoke up, "hey, where were you all this time? And were am I? Why am I here are we kidnapped again?" "Oh Abby I'm going to miss all of that babbling from you. Too bad I have to this, I'm so sorry that I am though." He spoke in a normal but shaky voice. "What? What so you mean by that? What is 'this' supposed to mean?" He stopped taping and reached for his pocket taking a switchblade out, by that time I was done asking I was just preying. I watched as the blade swung right open, it was about a six inched one. He stood up looked at the blade for some seconds, I think I saw a tear in his eye that he's fighting for it not to fall but he fails. It escapes but he quickly wipes it off with his empty. He looks at me with bitterness and starts approaching me slowly. "Estephan... Why the switchblade?" My voiced cracked. "Because it's 'this' sorry Abby, I have to." His voice on the other hand sounded like guild. "Why are you doing this?" He approached more. "Amber, she... She showed me hell. A-and she said if I don't do this she'd kill me and send me there. I don't want to go to hell. I was there for four minutes. It seemed like forever," he looked down, "first the fires, I was burning alive. All the things I'm afraid of are there." His voice started rising and tears were falling out, "I-I died o-over and over a-again. And I don't want to go back there again! That's why." Tears were falling out of my eyes while he walked closer, put his knees on the ground and the switchblade right below my chin. "Estephan stop! Listen to me. If you kill me you're going to go to hell anyway!" I screamed. But it made him think for a second, "Right, right. But I wouldn't go now. I'd go when I die, when I'm older, besides I'd have plenty of things to make up for it, now stop taking I'm loosing my concentration." No, no, no! I don't want to die either! God please help me. I closed my eyes and screamed.
