I look down at my boots, walking casually so not to draw attention in this small town. My hair does it enough as it is already. Pure white, when is that normal for a young girl, or one that looks young in my case. I just checked out of my motel room an to society I am twenty one year old June Smith. I know Smith is a generic name but who is threatened by a person with the last name smith? At the moment I have twenty dollars to my name a bag with two changes of clothes an a few other necessities. Nothing important.

If I was robbed I couldn't report it. Not that anyone would I could stop them if I wanted to but I didn't wanna blow my cover. To the government my existence is unknown. There is no June Smith, there is no social security or no "real" form of ID.

Bella Lovings is my real name. I stay in hiding because I am Lycan. I'm not normal. I cant remember being small which I assume is just because really I am 574 years old.

I take a turn behind a building into the woods behind it, to date not a pretty day not many people are out. The kind of days I choose to travel. To others like me not the same but show similar traird. I seem human. There is no one exactly like me.

I walk faster brushing through leaves an trees it's easier out here. Easier to breathe an feel free. I have to be careful. Others like me are territorial. I have no home an they call me Rogue. They call me a threat. June Smith is how everyone knows me. Bella Lovings is how I know me. The moon gave me my name.

As far as I know the moon is my mother. All I remember is one day I was here. I knew what I was. An I knew no one should ever know. An that's how ive kept it. Trusting in the moon to lead me, I've never ran into trouble. Even now when she is no where to be seen I am guided by here unseen figure.

I hear a twig snap an instantly I'm alert. My hearing is better an my eyes are strong. I quickly climb an oak tree that's sticky an built. I'm heavy but not to heavy. I'm proud of that. I sit on the branch highest that will hold me an I mask my scent. Hearing it come closer it's a male voice. Grumbling to himself.

"This is not what training warriors do. We don't gather berries." A young wolf clearly angry with his assigned task to young an niave to really be looking for anything suspicious.

"It's not fair, Faith is learning to fight. An I haven't so much as have been able to shift yet." You could hear the jealousy in his voice dripping from his lips.

I laugh a little at the boys little rant as he walks a safe distance from the tree I'm in. So young an so ready to fight. So ready to give his life... without even knowing what it's really like. It's moments like this I wish I belonged to a pack. I wished I was normal. I climb down from the tree an continue walking. To them I'm just a human anyway. What'd I do? Lose my way? I chuckle to myself softly.

A gruff voice speaks up "Who are you?" But it's a young voice trying to seem strong an grown. I smile it's the boy. Hes not so fooled is he. I turn around sticking my hand out.

"The names June Smith." The boy doesn't seem content with mt answer. He sniffs wearily. An I know he'll only smell human. But as protocol goes for a bit boy who found his first ticket into being praised. He sternly says.

"I'm going to have to ask you to come with me." I smile gently.

"Im just taking a walk in my grandfather's land, I must be passed out territory lines. I always do, my apologies." I put a concerned an sorry face on. But he only replies with.

"Follow me." He does not care an that's ok. His Alpha will not be happy of him bringing a "human" into camp. I smile an follow him as he walks through the woods. I'm a lot quieter than him without trying. But I have to take being human so I pretend to trip on a few twigs an make my breathing heavy.

He seems annoyed with this, an it pleases me. Maybe he'll let me go?

But all to soon I know that's not the case he walks into camp with me trailing behind. But for what I thought a pack was, it's desolant. He leads me to a cabin made of oak trees, it's rather quite beautiful but seemed a little small. He knocks on the door looking over his shoulder to make sure I'm still there. A booming voice yells an sends chills down my spine. My heart races. An my wolf whispers something. She seems a little on edge.

"What do you want Kevin?" I guess in a pack you know who is who. Kevin I'm assuming jumps a little.

"I found a human roaming your territory Alpha, an I brought her to go u for questioning." His skin has goosebumps all over it I assume it's from fear beings like me don't get cold.

A growl comes from inside in the cabin. "Bring her in." His voice again sends shivers down my spine. Gently my wolf is chanting something.

Kevin opens the door an holds it open for me. An a desk facing straight to the door with books lining walls faces me. An a man staring holes into me. An all I can do is repress the word Mate. Because I am supposed to be human. I am supposed to be June Smith...
