Twenty big wolf heads snapped into my direction and cowered at the sight of my body shaking with rage and sadness for the death of one of the members of my family. I roared and my silver eyes changed to red. I shifted into my black lion form and ran towards the wolves; attacking as soon as I could.

After a lot of scratches, bites, claw marks, growls and roars; there were only two more wolves left. I looked at them and shifted back into my human form. They shifted too and looked at me with fear and admiration. I straightened myself and held my head high.

"Explain" My voice was low and shook with anger; they cowered a little.

"We are warriors from the supernatural council, we both are beginners and we were the group the council send to come and get you; the hybrid" A brunette said. I growled and my body began to shake again.

"This is what you will do" Their eyes snapped to my direction and they nodded at me. "You will go back to the council and you will tell them that they have a week to prepare themselves for me to go to them. Tell them this is the opportunity they have been waiting for the last two hundred years and the last and first they will ever have. So, they better call every leader of the supernatural race, every 'somebody' from every race. I want every important person there" They nodded in understanding and I continued.

"Tell them not to send anyone for me or they will end like your other warriors and every other group they have sent, both of you are the last exceptions. Tell them I am done with their stupid games, I will go to them in a week. They better be ready to discuss important matters" They nodded and I dismissed them with a flick of my hand and a piss-your-pants growl. They sprinted, shifting to their wolves as they did, and ran towards the end of my territory.

I looked to the ground and saw it; the mess of red curls and that petite body of my Cassie. I walked towards her and dropped to my knees at her side. I cuddled her body close to mine and cried silently in her hair; my Cassie was dead. Another part of my family died because of the werewolf race. My baby died in the claws and fangs of a werewolf.

An innocent, pure and brave soul died by the hands of a reckless wolf.

It has been a week since Cassie's death. No one is doing well. I remember the look her parents had when they got the news; the news that her daughter was dead. I remember the funeral; she looked gorgeous in the dress she was in, it was the one I gave her in her birthday. She loved that dress.

The doctors said it was an animal attack; indeed it was. It was the attack of a ruthless animal; a reckless and bad animal. And they will all pay.

I remember the sorrow looks everyone gave me; they all knew I loved her with all my heart. Her parents and I were the most affected by her death; everyone knew that also. The funeral was perfect, just like she was. I was a mess in the funeral, and the next two days. I remember how the sadness and the rage centered in my heart those two days. But then I sucked it up, just like I did when I found out about my Pride. I accepted it and calmed myself down after hitting more than twenty trees. The sadness and rage still lingers there but it has numbed down.

I hadn't had any other encounter with anyone of the supernatural race. I thanked the moon goddess for that; in the state I was, they would have been ripped to shreds before they could blink. They follow orders, I recognize that.
