Third person POV
Even after a day, she's unable to shift her appearance to normal, because she doesn't know what her normal is, and out of everyone in the Castle to take the initiative to help her, it's Severus Snape who takes her into his office and dumps a memory of him seeing her sitting in his class into his Pensieve, and practically shoves her into it (because Snape has a reputation to uphold, you know). And it's the first time she's ever seen colors and shapes and people and wow she thinks she's pretty and she spends a great deal of time ghosting her hand over her memory self's hair and cheek. Even when she still has her head in the Pensieve, Snape can see her morphing to something much more like herself, like buckets of colors have been dumped over her and he's proud (though he'll never admit it) to note that he fixed this.
"what else is green," she asks
"Grass, leaves," drawls Snape
