Jealousy

Yami POV

He falls asleep as I still caress his hair, watching his beautiful sleepy face. Surprisingly he has accepted me, no screams, no punching, nothing just a sweet angel with a smile welcoming me into his world. I feel that him solving the Millennium puzzle was not just luck. Just when I thought I had enough questions to find answers to, more decide to walk on in. I sigh slightly not to wake Yuugi. Who are you Yuugi? I look at him for a moment almost expecting an answer I won't get.

Yuugi POV

~1 week later~

This week has been so unexpected ever since I encountered Yami. Things have come to be less boring especially at school as he talks to me in my mind. I haven't told Joey, Tristan, or Tea about the spirit that dwells in me, and I don't think they would understand anyway they'll think I'm crazy. Yami does question what a wear outside of school because it's too tight. Though in his area in time he would wear more revealing fabric. 

"Yuugi? It's Joey can I come in?" I jump at the sudden sound of another voice other than my own and Yami's. I slip into my school clothes and shimmer to the door and open it.

"Hey Joey, why you here?" 

"Oh wow Yuugi I see how it is, a friend can't just visit his friend at his house?"

"They can but you've never come to visit me not even meet me down the street, so why you here?" I say with a smiling expression.

"Alright you got me, Tea's sick and wanted me to take her place for the time being 'til she gets better." 

"Tea, sick? That's a shocker she doesn't usually get sick just some allergies."

"Yeah her parents were about to take her to the hospital over something small 'cuz its never happened." 

"That's understandable, hold on let me get my bag." He nods his head a little bit and I direct myself to by bed and grab my bag heading out the door to school.

Yuugi's Mind

"Why do you look at Joey in that way Yuugi?"

"Huh what do you mean?"

"You glare at him once in a while, then smile."

"S-so?"

"Do you like him?"

"W-what of course not. That's a very forward question to ask anyways, and if you want to know  I'm just happy to have him as a friend."

"Yes of course Yuugi." He says with sarcasm.

"I don't have time for this I need to get to school!"

Yuugi POV

"Yuugi you okay?"  Joey asks stepping in front of me, causing me to bump him.

"Huh? Oh Joey, wants up?"

"Nothing Yuugi are you okay you look really mad."

"It's fine Joey I'm okay."

"Alright Yuugi come on we're gonna be late for school we have only 10 minutes." he says grabbing me by the arm; dragging me across the sidewalk.
