I get to school and I see Lyddy at her locker. She looks upset so I go to ask what's wrong but someone taps me on the shoulder. It's my friend Sierra. She's more supportive of lo and me, the future couple, than Lyddy is.
Sierra: "Heeeyyyyy Kala poo"
Kala: "Hi Sierra"
Sierra:"What's up with you? You seem out of it."
Kala: "I barely slept... I couldn't stop thinking about lo"
Sierra: "Don't tell Lyddy " Sierra chuckles a little.
Kala: "I won't. Well atleast not yet. I mean what if Lyddy has a point? I haven't had much sleep in days. Plus lo doesn't even know I exist. I should give up he would never like me."
Sierra: "Kala listen don't give up. I've know you for 10 years an pd you have np ever felt this way about a boy."
Kala: "Tr.."
*First Bells Rings*
Kala: "Oh crap were late"
Sierra: "Yes we are Mrs. obvious. I'll ttyl bye kala"
Kala: "Bye!"
I busted into the door of history. Everyone looked at me.
Mr. Shirey: "Kala take your seat please"
I say down at my desk.
Mr. Shirey: "alright for the test.."
Shit.
.....
All the test are handed out. I look down at my paper and I don't know half of it.
His voice is so soft and beautiful. It was music to my ears. His voice alone could make me smile for days.
*Bell Rings*
I blink three times and look around.
Mr Shirey: "Ok class put your test on my desk on the way out"
I looked down at my paper and I had nothing answered. So I chose C for every answer and put "i don't know" in the open ended questions. I grabbed my bag and placed my test on the desk. I lowered my head and ran out the class.
