Alisa POV

So after practice, I thought I'd go to the park..... yeah I know it's weird for someone my age to go to the park but it's the only way for me to clear my head. I walked over to the bench and thought for moment. was I starting to like Princeton? No, I couldn't be. I mean after what he said to me, of course not. But he did apologize for it. No you promised yourself not to love again....I know you're thinking what happened....here it is....

5 Years ago....

Alisa POV

"No Charles stop!"I said with tears overflowing. This is the 4th time this week he has come home drunk. I'm tired of this relationship. He shouldn't be hitting me like this. I was trying to run away with my daughter but we got caught."Then tell me where the hell you were going!" he snapped back. "I was just.... ummmmm......" "LIAR! you were leaving me, what I tell you about that, huh!" "Charles please don't hit me." I pleaded "Its either you or this baby!" I was beyond what people call scared.

Flashback over

Alisa POV

I later blacked out and my daughter was killed. Charles was sentenced to life in prison for the way he killed my daughter and a bunch of other stuff. Thinking about the whole situation made me break down into tears.

"Excuse me miss."

I looked up to see a little girl with a teddy bear. she looked very dirty and young, around three-year old.

"ummmmm are ywu otay?" she asked putting her thumb in her mouth. I studied her for a minute, then quickly wiped off my tears with my hand. "yeah ummmm yes I am, where's your mommy sweety?" "She told me to wait here."  "And how long ago was that?" "two days ago." ok now that bitch crazy. like really leaving a child out here alone. Are you serious!?!?"ok well do you know her number though honey?" " no". ok at this point I knew her mother was not coming back. "ummm honey I don't think your mom is coming coming back." Then she started sobbing hysterically. I then picked her up and comforted her. But why did I felt so attached to her to her... kinda like she was me my daughter she looked like me. But that didn't matter."How bout we  go get some lunch." "otay." She smiled and I returned the favor. We went Apple bee's, and boy could she eat. I ended up learning that her was in jail and she she knew which one he was in. She is also extremely smart. I decided to take her to see her dad maybe we could work out something with her living with me. So we entered the county jail and the man at the front desk already knew her and why she was there ......weird..... maybe she's been a lot. She showed me where to go and we sat down. "Daddy!" she squealed. "ALISA!"

"CHARLES?!?!?!??!?"
