Ashley went to her part time job to ease the frustration she's feeling towards Andrei. He has done too much to her today and it hurts her whenever she accepts the reality of Andrei's unbearable pretenses. Her feelings towards him is confusing her to the point she doubt to admit to herself that she likes him.
She sighed heavily as she continues preparing the orders of their customers. Even her performance at work was being affected by her feelings, thing that her co-workers didn't miss to notice. They stood outside the kitchen door and watch her doing her job.
"Is Ashley alright?" one of the female workers of the restaurant asks other colleague. "I've never seen her like that. She looks so down."
"Yeah, I know that she often smiles but she's full of energy when she works. She's really different today," her male co-worker seconded.
"Poor Ashley, maybe she's still not feeling well," another girl sympathizes.
"Don't you think we have to tell this to manager?" another girl suggested.
"Tell me what?" the manager of the restaurant appeared behind them.
They all turn to face her with a surprised look on their faces. "M-Manager?!" they utter in unison.
"What are you all doing here? There are many customers tonight. You're supposed to be serving them."
"Sorry manager," the only guy in the group apologized in their behalf. "We’re just observing Ashley."
The manager peeks on the window panel of the kitchen door. "What about Ashley?"
A girl employee approached her. "She seems so down today and we know that you're the only one who can talk to Ashley. Please manager. You're the only one who can help her."
She looked at them one by one. They are all concerned for their co-worker whom they barely interact with. She's only hoping that someday Ashley will realize that she have friends she can depend on and willing to help her out.
"Alright, just get back to work and tell Ashley that I will talk to her right after her duty. All of you should not worry anymore."
"Yes manager," they all answered before dispersing and went back to their own jobs.
The manager looked at Ashley for the last time and put on a smile on her lips before she left her current location.

Ashley has been called by the manager for a little talk. She can't remember doing anything for her to be called.
She knocked on the manager's office door.
