The next day, I got bored, so I decided to text Ashton to see what he was up to. He was my first and only friend here, so I did not really know what to do.

Text conversation:

Me: Hey whats up?

Ashton: The sky duuuh

Me: lol smartass

A: Hey I have a few friends and they would love you. Maybe we can all hang out sometime?

Me: That would be cool! Also, I was wondering how old you are.

A: Oh I'm 17 I go to Sandia High School and Im a senior.

Me: Oh cool! Im 18 and Im actually joining Sandia High for senior year.

A: Maybe we will have some classes together. And you can eat with me and my friends at lunch.

Me: That sounds great since your the only person I know.

A: Me and my friends are actually gonna go hang out at the mall in an hour. Would you want to join us? I could pick you up.

Me: Are you sure? I don't want to go intrude on your day or anything.

A: Trust me, Im sure. They will love you Im sure of it. It will also help so then you know a couple of people when school starts.

Me: Okay heres my address. Text me when you get here.

A: Sounds good! See you then.

I then started to get ready. I grabbed a pair of ripped black skinny jeans, black vans, and a Bring Me The Horizon T-shirt. I then applied foundation and eyeliner. I brushed through my hair and fluffed it a bit. Then I grabbed my wallet and phone and sat in the living room. I looked at the time. Ashton would be here to get me in five minutes. I went to go sit outside on the steps. I saw a car pull up and assumed it was him. I went and got in. "Hey," I said
"Hey. I can't wait for you to meet my friends. You're gonna love them"
"Cool I can't wait!"
