When you judge something from what you are seeing and describe a current state. A possibility that a store is almost closing is not talked about in the next example.「Verb + んとする」 means "to intend to" or "to be about to"
It is 「んとする」 that you should be looking at, and not 「とする」, to begin with.
As it says in the dictionary above, 「んとする」 is the colloquial form of 「むとす」, which is classical Japanese. The meaning is the same for both.Everything here is stuff I noted from a site where a Korean guy teaches Japanese grammar patterns, I forgot the name but it has something about dreams.
