"Well..." I began to think about what I was going to say. I really didn't know where to begin, but my brother looked at me and I just couldn't take it anymore. I guess Michael was right. Everything was going to change. "I'll tell you so please don't get mad. Oh and wait until the end."
"Promise." He said as he started eating his food.
"Remember when we started high school?" he nodded yes "and how we made a promise to stay together. At least eat lunch together the first day?"
"Leila I-" I smiled but kept talking with no interruptions.
"That day when I saw you with your friends I knew I really didn't fit in. That's why I decided not to bother and to let you have a fun time with them. That decision made me sad however; I wasn't allowed to see my brother? Yeah. I went outside and sat on this random bench and ate my food alone. In tears actually, but I figured as long as one of us was happy it would be okay. That's when I met Michael. He was walking and sat next to me. I even remember him telling me that my promise with you wasn't fully broken because at least I made one friend." I looked at him and he had the saddest look on his face. "Well to cut this short the following year when my friends from junior high were finally going to be in high school, I thought things would get a little better."
"But?" I looked up and continued talking.
"They decided they didn't want to talk to me anymore. They just left me, just like that." I felt tears start forming "But it was okay, I smiled every time I saw you and your friends. It made me really happy to see that you became so popular. So here I am when I did so good at hiding myself from everyone, all of you ended up in biology with me." I laughed. "Michael mentioned to me that I shouldn't hide anymore. That it wasn't a big deal."
"He's right!"

"Louis what if you lose your popularity because you're talking to a nobody?"
"Leila! Please let me fix this?" she finished her drink and shook her head "No?"
"Can I fix this?" I didn't really think she'd do it, but I guess I couldn't say no to her.
"Fine, but I'll help!" she turned around and looked at the time.
"Oh no I have to read the chapters for English!" I cracked up.
"Leila those chapters aren't due until Friday!"
"I read those already! The ones for next week." Which made me laugh even more. She ran and grabbed her book. As she opened her book a picture came out.
"Leila..." I grabbed it and turned it around to see a picture of Harry. "WHAT!" I laughed so much and that's when she knew I saw. She grabbed it put it back in her book and turned bright red.
"Louis!" I just couldn't help myself this was all really too great. "Oh my gosh!" she covered her face but laughed as well.
"Leila why do you have a picture of my best friend as a BOOK MARK!" I laughed again, but I really did find this adorable.
"I think you can guess." She pouted and started chuckling. "See this is why you can't be seen with me." I stopped laughing and hugged her.
"You're silly. Please let me ask if you can ride with us to school tomorrow?" she smiled, but shook her head.
"If we're going to do this let me do it at my own pace."
"Fine" I took the picture from her "but let me get you a better one." I ran to my room and she followed me, my mom was coming upstairs and laughed when she saw us.
