"Was it really necessary to slap her?" Rose mentioned to me. "She didn't even know what you were talking about."

"Oh please. What is a slap going to do?" I rolled my eyes and we both went to our last class. English. I looked over and saw Harry sitting in front of the classroom. Perfect. "Hey Harry!" he turned to me and waved.

"Hey."

"What nothing else?"

"What else do you want me to say?"

"Didn't you think about what you did!?" I was really mad.

"No. I know what I did. And I know that its what is best." He looked at me and then his eyes were focused somewhere else. I turned around to see Leila and Michael walking in and going towards the other side of the room. I looked over to see Leila had a bandage on her cheek. I got up and approached her.

"Hey Leila!" she looked away from Michael and focused on me.

"Hey..."

"Do you not know my name?"

"Stephanie. Hey Stephanie."

"What happened to your face?" she looked at Michael and whispered something to him. He nodded and stood up and left us alone.

"What are you trying to do? I haven't done anything wrong."

"Look all I'm saying is don't tell anyone what happened. I'll make your life a living-"

"Is something the matter?" I turned around and saw Harry.

"No not at all why would you think that babe?" he rolled his eyes.

"Look don't call me babe. We're not a thing anymore."

"I'm sorry I should probably move seats." Leila said and was getting her things.

"No it's all right. Sorry for interrupting." He smiled at her and went back to his seat.

"Look Stephanie I'm not looking to fight with you or anyone. You didn't even know I existed until yesterday. I'm just trying to get through school unnoticed okay."

"Why do you suddenly think you have a right to talk to Harry?"

"Because she's my little sister."

"Louis!" she stood up in shock. "Why did you come? Class is starting soon."

"Michael got me." he turned over to me "Look I don't even need her to tell me I know you did this to her."

"I don't know what you're talking about." I looked over to Harry who was still looking towards us "Besides I know how many sisters you have." He rolled his eyes.

"You don't know anything about me Steph so back off."

"You don't tell me what to do!" I turned back to Leila "She's nothing compared to me. I'll make all of your lives a living hell." I walked off. Guess it's a good day to ditch my last class. I ran out of the school and to my car. This isn't over.

--------

"Louis." I didn't know what to say. I didn't want to start any fights. That's why I didn't say anything.

"It's fine. Ms. Vega's class is only down the hall." He hugged me "I'll see you after school okay." He ran out the door.

"Michael you didn't have to."

"I know I did." He touched my cheek "I knew it was her too." he sat down in the seat in front of me and I was just shocked I guess. This whole day was a disaster. Everything moved too fast. I looked at Harry who was staring at the board. Was it so worth it being with him if this is the life I had to live? Was it so worth it to let Mr. Moore say Ms. Tomlinson this morning without cutting him off? I knew what he was going to say and I had time to interrupt him. I just didn't. Not couldn't. I just let it happen. I did a great job hiding myself for the past two years. When they'd go over I'd be in my room. Out in the pool? I'd just stare at them, looked at my window now and then. Louis never mentioned my name, and I asked every teacher to be called Leila if I had a class with Louis. Everyone except Mr. Moore I was going to do that today after school. See I was right. I just ruined this for everyone. I touched my cheek, Stephanie was right. I don't have a right to talk to Harry. But. All I could see in my head was his beautiful smile. Those bright green eyes. The laugh I loved hearing when I'd see him joke around with my brother. I just couldn't help myself. I felt like this had to happen, but why did it happen like this. I rested my hand on my face and felt tears I wiped them away quickly. If you thought being a loser was bad. Being a nobody was worse. Because no one had something they knew about you to make fun of you. Once they learned about you, they can tell the world who you are. Incorrectly.
