Chapter 17: The Forbidden Love pt. 1

Elsa's POV:

I became a bit worried about Jack. He's already 30 minutes late in our class, which he doesn't do. Besides, there aren't any meetings that I know of.

An hour has passed and still no sign of him. The class ended without him showing up. I was so worried. I split with the group so that they can go back to their room already and I went my way to the Main Office. There, I saw Mr. North and Mr. Bunnymund looking busy.

"Umm, sirs? Can I have a moment?" I politely requested. They stopped for a moment and looked at me.

"What can we help you with?" Mr. North asked.

"About Ja-- I mean, Mr. Frost, is he here? He didn't attend our class." I replied.

"Well, he went out to follow--" Mr. Bunny almost said but was interrupted when Mr. North glared at him. They're hiding something.

"He has an urgent mission. He'll be back soon." Mr. North said and continued his works, and soon Mr. Bunny did his too.

I just bowed and thanked them then went out. As I was walking through the corridor, I heard two students gossiping.

"Hey, you know our Homeroom teacher Ms. Tooth?" One of them asked.

"Yes, why?" The other replied.

"I saw her crying while she was running outside. It seems like she was going somewhere. Then later on, I saw Mr. Frost flying, probably looking for her." The first one said.

But I ignored these rumors and went back to my room. After a few minutes, someone came knocking.

"Jack?!" I excitedly opened the door. But to my dismay, he's not there. I was about to close the door but a foot blocked it and then there was Eugene, and Punzie!

They hurried inside our room and closed the door.

"Hey what's wrong? Why are you guys so sneaky? And why is Eugene here?" I asked Punzie.

"Elsa, listen to me first. You need to be aware of Ms. Tooth. I know you took that golden case from her to know more about Jack. But Elsa, Ms. Tooth and Pitch are working together!" She said, terrified.

"What? Wait I don't get it. How? Why?" I was confused.

"Elsa, I asked Eugene some help to research about black sand cause I saw it in your golden case. And after investigating, we found that out. Believe us." Punzie tried to convince me.

"Pitch had everything in plan. We should alert the Guardians already.'' Eugene added.

Then I remembered Jack followed Ms. Tooth somewhere. My heart was beating fast. I need to save Jack!

"Jack's going to Ms. Tooth, I need to tell the Guardians. Stay here." I told them and ran back to the Main Office.

"Did Jack followed Ms. Tooth?" I seem to startle them.

"Elsa, it's not a student's matter." Mr. Bunny said.

"But--" I tried to speak.

"Yes, he followed her to bring her back here." Mr. North confessed.

"But Mr. North, Pitch Black is after them!" I said.

"He is? Are you sure about that?" Mr. Bunny asked.

"Yes, and we need to save them quick!" I told and ran out the office, but Mr. North prevented me.

"Elsa, stay out of this. Students are not allowed to join this battle." He said.

"I am not just his student, I am his girlfriend." I finally said.
