I felt my chest moving slowly up and down, I felt air inside my lungs again, I opened my eyes and looked down at my body, why was I in a hospital gown, better yet why was I in a hospital? I sat there thinking hard as I could before realizing their was a black haired man sitting in a chair with his eyes closed and head back, on the other side of the room. Who the hell was he and why was he here? "Nurse, nurse!" I yelled becoming more aware of the fact that I was laying in a hospital with a strange man in the room.
"Great, you're awake!" The nurse cheerfully said as she entered the room
"I guess, but could you tell me what happen, ya know before I was in the hospital, and why I'm in here now?" I questioned
"Oh dear" the blonde nurse said sounding a bit concerned "let me take a look at your files I'll be right back" the nurse said as she opened the oversized glass door and left the room.
"Sir, sir, sir!" I repeated myself, gradually getting louder until the black haired man was awoken
"Oh, you're awake!" The man said, as if he thought I wasn't going to wake up.
"Yeah I've been awake..."
"Have you really? For how long? What do you remember?" The man asked, full of questions that I wasn't sure if I should answer or tell him to leave.
"About twenty minuets or so and I don't remember anything really, all I remember is..." I thought about it for a while. The room grew silent as I slowly regained my memory "I remember going to my sisters house and having to tell her something about my fiance" I grew weak as I spoke.
"You got in a wreck, I found you and called 911..." the man informed me quickly speaking.
"When did this wreck occur?" I asked almost in tears and with breathing shaky.
"About three months ago..."
"What? What about my sister? My voice cracking, I didn't know wether to run out of the room or to just cry, for terrible thoughts ran through my head.
"I'm not really sure how to tell you this but" the strange man paused for a while as he scratched his head. "Sh-she's passed away"
"How long ago?" I questioned
"about two months ago, I'm so sorry" the man comforted me, but little did he know I was already gone, my mind was wondering, my heart was breaking I hurt with a fire burning deep.
"What do you mean, she's dead? What about the funeral? What about Allen, her husband?
"There was a funeral, and Allen, well I'm not sure how to say this either but after the funeral he k-killed him self" the man stuttered
"I'm back, sorry it took so long" the nurse apologized as she walked into the room.
"don't worry about it" i said as calmly as i could. as if my sister and brother in-law didn't just die. the nurse handed me copies of the files she held in her hands and started to explain what happen.
"well first of all it started when you left your sisters house, you then sped up the road i'm assuming out of anger, hit a tree and flew out the windshield where about an hour later Gerard found you, called 911 and has stayed with you ever since. i don't think he's left this room for more than two hours a day" i looked over at the man in confusion. why would he stay with me? i then sat blankly as i let everything that i just heard soak in.
"what the fuck! where am i supposed to stay?" i screamed.
"you can stay with me, of course" Gerard implied.
"but i don't even know you!"
"I've looked after you for three months, i'm sure you'll be safe living with me"
"i'm hungry" i quickly changed the subject.
"of course!" the nurse said as she shuffled to the side if the hospital bed to remove all the needles jabbed into my arms. she removed the needles and i hopped out of the bed and followed her to the cafeteria with Gerard right behind us of course.
