Monday morning. The sun is up and the sky is clear. No signs of a gloomy weather. Probably the best time to make a stroll in the park, but Kris won't get out of his bed until half pass twelve. It's his regular routine to be unproductive on the first day of the week and usually his melatonin level spikes on Monday's.
Kris has his own ways of rebellion against his exhausting job, procrastinating is one of them. He's stuck on this one project for several years now. Although he's brilliant he can't get out of this sink hole for a couple of reasons that he doesn't want to acknowledge anymore. He'll go nuts if he put so much attention to this.
At the age of 23 he is still single and never really had a decent relationship and thinking of keeping it this way as long as he has money when he grows old.
"Money is everything. Money is happiness," he tells himself this mediocre mantra whenever he feels frustrated about his job. A job that takes away his life in exchange of a couple of bucks. Although he gets breaks from time to time, this was not quite satisfying.
Given his flexible schedule that was out to give him freedom, gave him the opposite. The stretch was more of overkill load and less for himself, but he never bother. His goal was to save money for another two years and then he'll quit, go unemployed for six months, travel a little and then find another career more appealing or start his own business. He still doesn't know, but he has plans.
