Smith put her toes into the chilled sand. Although it was spring, the night air made the sand freezing. She left her shoes behind and walked to the shore. Before she emerged herself into the cold water forever, she stopped to think. Not about turning back, but about moving forward. Then she whispered, "goodbye, worries," and slowly walked forward.
