Samantha hated her parents. Her step-parents. Her one wish was to quit school, but they wouldnt allow her to. She had to go to a self help group. It was her first day of her sophmore year, yet she still knew her problem would follow her.
<This day is done over in Samantha's point of view, but this will be the last time I will do this as far as I know.>
Samantha sat back in her chair. A girl that looked like a sunny dork was standing in front of the door.
"Heya, Im Elizabeth K. Sparrow." That was all Samantha bothered to listen to, until a while later, she heard that she was going to work on a science project with the girl that sat next to her. What was her name again... Ellie? Emily? Ella- no, it was Elizabeth.
"Jake, Samantha, and Elizabeth, please go to-" Samantha got up and stood by the door. She had gone through this drill every day of her freshman year, and she hated it. She saw Jake pull the girl to the door, and they walked to the self help group room."Mr. Lee is always late. Sit down 'till he gets here." Jake smiled. Jake was Samantha's crush in a way, and she was Jake's, they both knew it. They both still kept things the same.
"What is this place supposed to be?" The girl asked.
"A self help group."<E's P.O.V.>
Elizabeth's eyes widened. How did they find out?! she thought.
For a while, Elizabeth had realized she had a disorder. A bipolar disorder. Half of the time, she couldnt decide what she was feeling. Right now, she was certain. She was terrified.<S's P.O.V.>
The door opened. In the doorway stood someone Samantha was familiar with, Mr. Lee.
"Kids, I will be with you in just a moment."
"What, so you came in here just to tell us we have to wait another fuckin' year you goddamn asshole?"
"Sam. Please calm down. I will be back in a bit."
Elizabeth was surprised. How did "Sam" get away with talking like that to Mr. Lee?
"I know what youre thinking. Its my own personal disorder.. I swear too much."
"Yeah, she also drinks, smokes, and stuff like that." Jake said in response.
"So, um.. Jake, what are you here for?"
"The principal, along with a lot of the staff, thinks Im gay." Jake replied without hesitation.
"Im 'unna bust out this bitch if he doesnt come back in the next five FUCKING seconds. I have plans after school, goddamnit." Elizabeth was getting scared of this girl, which she then remembered was her science project partner.
"Okay kids, Im back."
"Oh yay, we got a short-ass gay counselor in the fuckin' room."
"Okay, Elizabeth, you are new. How about you tell these two why you are here today?"
"I already did." she lied.
"Oh, then.. Lets get started with talking about it."
"I dont wanna talk 'bout my fucking problems, Mr. Shortass." Samantha said.
"Sam."
"Like seriously, you need to get a counselor for yourself and your 4 foot tall boyfriend."
Samantha and Mr. Lee argued back and forth.
"Come on, we normally have to go out into the hall when they fight." Jake whispered to Elizabeth.
