“A Road to Remember”
I remember a road,
Strong and long,
Quiet and empty,
Safe and peaceful.
Roads aren't always safe.
Now there's a road,
In the one I remember’s spot,
Cracked and bumpy,
loud and hectic,
unsafe and full of traffic.
Sometimes, I question my
memory.
