"Antebellum."
Antebellum, life was good.
Bicycles rummaging through woods,
knowing the circumference of towns,
but before our eyes, we watched our hearts decay.Happiness was dismissed.
Jews and Gentiles no longer
considered equal.The world becoming
extraordinary.German U-Boats sailing the
aquamarine.Americans just an audience.
No one left to give a biography.
