Chapter four

Jayden POV's

after her eyes closed I realized we were in a awkward position so I quickly stood up " Jayden! are you ok? " Mark asked finally reaching us.

" OH Gosh! Why now in the morning! " A girl pitch black hair yelled in concern (?) as she kneeled down to the brown haired girl unconscious on the ground.

" you need to help me get her to the infirmary " she added while she turned her head piercing her eyes emerald at me.

following her commands I picked the brown haired girl bridal style and looked at the black haired one. While staring she looked at me in confusion and asked " what are you doing lets go to the infirmary " embarrassed I replied " I don't know where it is " " What do you mean you don't know? " " Well me and my friend here just transferred we were rushing to the school until we bumped into you two " I said while introducing Mark.

she sighed " well that explains it, just so you know class starts at 9:30 not at 9 o'clock so you're kind of early " " oh, um we didn't know that " " its fine, you just transferred ok so just follow me to the infirmary " me and Mark nodded and followed her into the large hallways of school.

when we arrived the school nurse was surprised to see us until her eyes landed to the girl I was carrying and told us to come in.

I gently put her down into the bed looked back at the school nurse who wanted to talk to us about what had happened.

After explaining to the school nurse she sighed " she is going to be fine she just needs rest "we nodded " so next time be carefull I don't want any injuries like this so early in the morning " she added.

" would you mind in staying in here for a while until I get back I'm just getting more supplies " she asked while we understood and accepted the nurses request.

after the nurse left the black haired girl turned her head to me and said " I'm Malissa sorry I didn't tell you earlier and the girl you carried is my bestfriend " " I'm Jayden and this is my friend Mark we came from England " I responded, she gasped while her brows jumped in surprise " wow, that was a complete twist of turn... I didn't even notice you accents until now " we laughed " we get that all the time and its still hilarious ".

" oh gosh, I forgot I have to go to my brother's school play after school..... but ...." She furrowed  her brows in concern " I could stay after school " I volunteered Mark was surprised " Jayden, you don't even know the way to the apartment how are you going home then?"

"You almost got lost when we were running if it weren't for me correcting you, you could've been in a big trouble " he added " I memorized it while running here,.... Heh " I nervously laughed Mark looked at me unsure of my words then the nurse suddenly came in and thanked us for watching the infirmary for her then we went out and started walking in the hallway

Malissa sighed and turned to us " well there's no choice I need to go now I trust my friend to you Jayden " and then she left for first semester though her last sentence sounded like a threat to me . Mark turned to me worried eyes that I rarely see " you're crazy were a mile away from school you sure you don't want me to stay with you? " " yeah, it was my fault she was unconscious I didn't pay attention to where I was going " I replied Mark sighed " we need to get going the first semester is about to start " I nodded and followed him.

               ~After school~

Oh gosh, I forgot how I hate Math I was walking in the hallway, a very crowded hallway to be honest with you I felt someone touch my shoulder " Jayden! " I turned in surprise and saw Mark breathing heavily probably from running " I kept calling your name for like five minutes!! " shaking my shoulders while his orange neon eyes glaring into my golden ones.

With a sigh he said " you need to go to the infirmary remember? " " oh, right " I replied and followed him to the infirmary.

Before entering the infirmary Mark stopped me  " are you really sure about this? You might get lost " I smiled at him for reassurance " yeah, just go you're busy today right? Just go Mark "
He mumbled a ' fine ' with his face still full of concern and then left while waving.

I turned to the door and pushed it open and was greeted by the nurse  she led me to the left side of her bed and I was surprised she wasn't awake yet the nurse explained that she probably was too tired or she didn't get enough sleep for the past days that made her fainting a lot longer than usual I thanked her when she left I sat down and laid my head on top of my arms

what's with Mark today... He's more protective than before my eyes widen and my jaw slightly clenched with a sudden thought ..... Did they find us again? I thought while my eyelids started close I was feeling tired lately too.....
