Now, I'm about six months pregnant and you could finally tell. We had a baby shower, and Colby had asked Elton, Aaron, Corey, and Sam to help him paint the babies room once we find out the sex.
Today was the gender reveal party that Kat and Devyn sat up. Colby's mom and dad flew out but had to leave because work. But we were Skyping them while it went on.
I wore blue and pink dress. I had on a tiara and Colby wore a pink and blue shirt. Everyone wore a clothes pin either pink or blue for which ever gender they thought it would be.
Whoever had got it right got to slap the others with a pie. Obviously Kat, Devyn, Colby, and I were out of question couldn't even participate.
We walked into the room where a cake sat. It was a cake, it was adorable. Had two sets of converse on it. I looked at Colby and picked up the knife, putting it towards him "You do it" he smiled and kissed my forhead, pulling me into his side as everyone was recording and the laptop with his parents on Skype were sat up.
As he started to cut into it, I got excited and started to shake a little. As he cut the second side and set the knife down the cake was still close enough we couldn't tell. Before he pulled it away, I picked it up and smushed it in his face, making everyone burst out laughing. Blue and pink frosting held PINK CAKE TO HIS FACE.
"We're having a girl!" I screamed and started jumping up and down, jumping up around him and kissing him.
I pulled back and he was laughing, I felt the cake on me but I didn't care. "Whats the name!?" Sam asked, I smiled and looked at him "It's Lyric Rose" he smiled and nodded. "Look at me, let me take a photo" I looked over at Devyn as I heard a few gasps, I turned back around to not see Colby, until I looked down a bit and seen him down on one knee. I covered my mouth as tears came to my eyes.
