The Christmas celebrates had ended and with that Princess Elizabeth was escorted back to Hatfield.
It was in late February of 1537 that Queen Jane informed King Henry that she was indeed pregnant.
King Henry was overjoyed with the news that Queen Jane Seymour was expecting his long waited heir.

King Henry VIII had to delay Jane Seymour coronation due to the plaque. He did not want to risk getting Jane sick.
Jane Seymour understood and they travelled to Hampton Court to escape the stitch and smell of burning corpses that had died from the plague.
King Henry the VIII and Queen Jane Stayed there throughout the summer and autumn and on October 12, 1537 Queen Jane delivered a healthy son name Prince Edward.
The labor, and birth was difficut and the court physicians had to make a decision as Queen Jane was struggling,to give birth to her child.
King Henry told the physicians, " Save the child because more wives can be found."
The court physicians were be able to save both.
Queen Jane came down with child birth fever and on October 24, 1537 she passed away.
King Henry gave her a burial mass and laid her to rest at Windsor Palace.
