As the days passed, Jungkook and Yeri got closer and closer. Yeri was sure of her feelings for him although she knew it was wrong. She sighed deeply as she finished lacing up her shoes. She got up and walked to the park, where Jungkook wanted to meet her.
--
Once she got there, she saw Jungkook sitting on the swing, staring down at his feet as he kicked the pebbles around.
"Hey, what wrong did the pebbles ever do to you?" Yeri asked, causing Jungkook to chuckle.
"Why did you want to meet?" Yeri asked as she sat down on the swing next to him.
"I have something to tell you." Jungkook said in a serious voice.
"Whatever we were... whatever we had.. just forget all about it. We can't be together and you know that." Jungkook said, staring into her eyes.
"W-what? What d-do you mean?" Yeri said with tears threatening to fall.
"My brothers found out about us. They threatened to tell my parents unless I ended things with you. But I know there's a way to make things ri-" Jungkook said.
"I understand. Thank you for everything." Yeri said cutting him off emotionless, as a tear fell. She got up to leave.
"Wait Yeri, you know that I love you and I would never want to hurt you." Jungkook said as he grabbed her wrist. She turned around to face him, eyes as puffy as ever.
"I know." was all Yeri said. "Seriously, Yeri? That's all you're going to say?" Jungkook asked, tightening his grip around her wrist.
"What else am I supposed to say? We know we can't be together. No mater what I say, it won't make things right Jungkook." Yeri said.
"So you're just gonna give up on us?" Jungkook said. "I'm sorry Jungkook." She said as she kissed him on the lips before getting up and leaving.
