when yeri opened up the letter, she was shocked to see a bunch of random patterns written. all the patterns looked awfully familiar but yet she couldn't decipher what the patterns spelled.- -
she spent the rest of the day trying to figure out what the patterns symbolized. she could not focus on anything else unless she figured out what the letter meant, it was driving her crazy, to say the least.
she got home and saw her little brother sitting at the dining table, colouring in his colouring book. she thought of the time jungkook came over. he was really busy with her little brother coming up with some "top secret" stuff that they never told yeri about.
and that's when it hit her. the patterns she saw in the letter were the "top secret" stuff jungkook and her little brother were doing.
if she could get her little brother to decipher the letter then she could crack the case.
- -
after one or two bribes, she finally managed to get her little brother to decode the letter.
it was a quote. she thought hard about it because it sounded too familiar and then she realized it was a quote from jungkook's favourite book that jungkook was always bugging yeri to read but she never did. it obviously was another clue to jungkook's disappearance but the only way she could get to it was by reading the entire book as she didn't know which exact page the quote was from.
