Chapter 1

Kendall's P.O.V

I can't believe all of this is happening, One day everything was fine and normal. The next day i find out that both my parents died on a plane crash, I was at home just watching the telly when i got a phone call saying that my parents and thirty-two other passengers died. And since I'm under age the police department decided to send me to Australia with my Aunt Joy and my cousin Calum Hood.

Maybe I should introduce myself, My name is Kendall Marie Hilton I live... well use to live in Britain. I'm moving to Sydney, Australia I'm seventeen years-old and an only child. And that's practically all you need to know.

At the moment I'm on a plane heading to my Aunt Joy's house, I guess you could say I'm kind of nervous. I've never really met my Aunt Or Calum, I never knew they were part of my family i guess My parents wanted to keep it a secret. And their the only family i have left.

" We'll be arriving in five minutes" The flight attendant said, she added a couple more comments but i didn't really listen. I looked out my window, I saw the sun setting down it was eight o'clock but it was still bright out . I suddenly felt a kick behind my seat, I turned around to see a little boy kicking my seat i was going to say something but i turned to look to my right and saw this huge man. Which i figured was his dad. I sat back down in my seat and stayed quiet.

I pulled my phone out of my brown shoulder bag and put my ear buds on, as i put the volume up the song See you again by Carrie Underwood blocked all the talking that was going on in the plane. I looked down at my hands, they felt so cold. It was weird because it's summer, but it was kind of cold on the plane, i was wearing black yoga leggings and a muscle tank top that had the Sleeping with Sirens logo and bracelets that covered my cuts from a couple days ago.

I felt a light tap i turned around and took out one of my ear buds, I was sitting next to a women who looked like she was in her mid thirty's.

'' We have arrived'' She said and stood up and walked away.

I put my other ear bud on and stood up and put my shoulder bag on and walked off the plane . As i walked off the plane i felt a nice breeze hit me the fresh air felt nice and the bright sun shinning down on me, i put my sunglasses on. I walked inside the airport in search of my suit case.

As i entered the airport, my suitcase was in no site.

'' Shit'' I mumble to myself. i went to one of the desk.

'' Excuse me ?'' I asked and an old lady looked up.

'' Hello, how can i help you ?'' She asked.

'' Well you see i couldn't find my-''

'' KENDALL" I turned around and saw a boy with black hair he looked my age he was running towards me.Once he reached me he hugged me.

'' Um Calum ?'' I asked suspicious.

'' Yup that's me, sorry I'm just a little excited, oh and my mom, isn't here she's at work so she had me come and pick you up'' He said with a wide smile.

I smiled back, a little excited the dude was really excited. He was kind of creeping me out.

'' Aye, where's your suitcase ?'' He asked looking around.

'' I couldn't find it so, I'm here asking what to do'' I said, he nodded. The old lady cleared her throat.

'' If you can fill these out, we'll get your suitcase back to you as soon as possible" She said while handing me papers.

'' And young man don't yell this is an airport not a playground'' She said ,i giggled, and Calum started blushing.

'' Let me just fill these out and then we can leave'' I said, he nodded and i got a pen and filled out the papers.
