Now if you are a Whovian still on the ninth doctor, before Martha jones, or you just said screw it, I'm starting with Matt Smith and haven't gotten to Time of the Angels, or your not a Whovian and you just decided to pick up this book, I will do a brief explanation of Weeping angels. if you need an explanation on what doctor who is, comment below and I will give one. (this is not the update I was talking about).
Weeping Angels
They are quantum locked beings that are very powerful.
Being quantum locked means one thing basically, you see them they are stone. you look away, and they can move. it is the perfect defense mechanism because you can't hurt stone. but then again, stone can't hurt you. But them you look away, they can move. they've been known to officially do two things: break someone's neck and somehow "steal" their voice, or they can transport you through time and space. They then feed off of all those things that could've been. they are super strong, they can open any door, they could deadlock any door. they can hunt you down, get into a room with you, and then trap you in that same room.

There are baby weeping angels too, more terrifying and uglier than the regular.
The Statue of Liberty is also an angel, but since it is always being looked at, it can't move.
If you have any questions, post them in the comments below. also, if you want a brief explanation of Doctor Who than post that in the comments.
I suggest, if this didn't make sense, or you just want to hear the song, look up blink by chameleon circuit. it is really good at explaining weeping angels, and the episode blink.
Keep exterminating my little daleks, and allonsy!
