I grabbed Rory and we ran outside. We hopped in our car and drove away. We saw the statues everywhere, with blank eyes, angel wings, the hands over their faces... UGH I was ready to scream! No one knew, and everyone will think I'm loony if I tell them the truth! But I realized, all my neighbors were angels. It was like an angel plague. And we were the only ones with a vaccine. But when we hit downtown, we kept driving, past city limits, past many towns. We stop at a hotel and rest. I turn on the news, and then, it shows the news.
"Breaking news! Strange Angels have taken over!"
I KNEW IT!
"The market!"
wow. just wow
"Here's a pictu-"
I turn the tv off. I knew what would happen. We would've died.
In a hotel.
I'd have travelled all over the universe, just to die at a Hampton inn. I hear screams all around me. looks like other people didn't know. I then turn and see the door splinter and an angel just standing there. We run past it. We get in the car and drive.
"What the-"
"Rory, calm down, they are statues that can kill you when you aren't looking at them."
"Wow, that's a relief. I thought they were just statues that moved, but deadly! Why do all of the aliens you meet have to be deadly?!?!"
