**Seven years later**

The shrill noise of my alarm sounds in my ears and I sigh as I open my eyes. I turn off the disturbance which rouse me from my sleep. Then I roll out of my bed and sit on the edge of it. Bright sunbeams that come through the curtain shine softly in my sleepy face and I screw up my eyes. I falter to the window and open the curtain. The sun lights up my whole room. I go to the bathroom, stripe off my clothes to take a shower.

The warm water loosens my strained muscles and I wash my fuzzy long brown hair. I wrap a towel around my wet body, blowing dry and comb my hair. I walk to my closet and put my clothes for school on. I decide to wear a blue jeans and a black top. Then I put on my silver bracelet like always. It is my lucky charm and it remembers me on that boy who gave me it exactly seven years ago. Afterwards I go downstairs to the kitchen. My mother is still at work and my father isn't here too. Why should he? He left me and my mother! My mom cries every night, because of his disappearance and nobody knows where he was going. Even his workmates don't know where he is or they just won't tell it us. I am sure he cheated on my mom, because I saw him even with a other woman one day. I was ten years old. I don't know how to feel, because he spend almost every day with me before he was gone. As I was a child I waited every second next to the door from hope he would come anytime, but there was no hope... My mom don't want to talk about this and I can understand her. It is an indescribable, unbearable feeling. Obviously he didn't care for us despite he is still my father and I can't forget him. You can choose your friends, not your family...

I kick that thought out of my mind and go to the fridge, because my stomach grumbles. I get some food out of it and eat something. Then I hear my phone is ringing and I received a new message from my mom. She texts me, she's coming later home today, because she has to step into the breach. My mother works at the hospital as a nurse and honestly I don't want to have her work. First I can't see blood. I am becoming every time pale and I am sick when I see that dark red liquid. I think it is kinda disgusting, although I need this to life. One time I lost my conscious for a short time as I fell on the hard ground and see that my knee was bleeding. Second I can't see people who suffer. I don't know why, but I hate it to see someone who are in pain. I also can't see sad movies without tears in my eyes. Every time when a innocent person dies, the tears run simply out of my eyes and I cannot hamper them.

Suddenly someone knocks the door, I whiz to it and open the threshold. My best friend Sarah stands now in front of me and grins. Her bright dyed red hair hang in her face and she tucks them behind her ear.

“Are you ready to go to school?” She asks.

“I think so...” I answer and smile, getting my backpack and we take our way to the living hell, also called school.

“So how was your weekend?” I ask her and she smiles excitingly.

“You know that Justin asked me for a date on Saturday and it was perfect... He was so lovely and the way he talked to me was really different than usual! Uhg... I will never forget this day!” She told me and dimples appears in her face as she grins. “And we ended up kissing in his room after dinner at the restaurant...” She continues, whispering in my ear and acts like a five year old girl who got finally her candy. Justin is my best friend like Lilly and they are really a dream team. He confessed me that he loves Lilly and asked her finally for a date view days ago. I know Justin and Lilly since when I was ten years old. They were always there for me and we tell everything to each other.

“That is really cute and to be honest you are a very sweet couple! I am so happy for you!” I express and a huge smile appears in her face.

“Thank you! And I know we are cute!” She jokes and I smile.

After twenty minutes we finally arrived the schoolhouse and I sigh as I see it.

“What do you think will happen today?” She asks me. “You know you have to expect the unexpected in our school!” She laughs and I shrug.

“Perhaps Jessca and Clyde broke up...” I laugh and she frowns her eyebrows.

“You know that will never happen!” Sarah replies and smiles. Jessca is one of the desirable girls at school and she's in a relationship with Clyde Johnson, the football captain. Almost every football player has a special liking for cheerleaders, I guess. She came from Europe and moved here two years ago. Every guy liked her just looking at her and the other girls felt like, they're invisible. I am the kind of girl who don't cares about anything. I just want to have good grades and being friendly to everyone. Maybe I am not the most famous girl here, but I don't need the attention of other students. I never had a boyfriend... Sometimes I really want someone who loves me more than anything, but he isn´t here at the moment. Perhaps he'll come anytime. Then we are in front of the entrance and we open the big door to spend the next boring hours there.
