"Stupid bookworm! Try sticking your nose in a book about having friends! Bet you don't know how that feels! Try 'experiencing that story'!" They call to me as I run. And boy do I run. Across the playground, and into the forest. I slip, I trip, I try not to cry.
Everyone always talks about murderers in this forest-ghosts, coyotes, bears-everything scary has a rumor with this forest behind my school. Here I am, running straight into it.
I hear a sound. Almost like wood creaking. And that's when I stop running. That's when my tear-filled eyes see a dark blue blur in front of me. I rub my hand over my face, wiping away my tears. The thing in front of me is a peculiar blue box, the words police public call box painted on the top. The blue paint is being chipped away by ivies and vines, which have also tilted the box against the tree next to it.
I run my hands along the strangely familiar surface. "What are you?," I whisper, "why are you all alone in the forest? Were they mean to you too?" The wood creaks again. No. They just forgot.
Wondering what's inside, i push on the handle. A sliver of light seeps through, calling me, come in, I'll protect you, take you everywhere you've ever dreamed, come in, come in...
I push in the door a little more, revealing a large, spacious room held up by a spinning, energetic column in the center. "Wow" I exclaim as I close the door behind me. "You're beautiful!" The column whirrs. What's your name?
"It's not much of a name, but they call me 3389675." What do you want to be called? Prompts the buttons along the panel. I think as she awaits her answer.
"I heard this song once. By Beethoven. Andromeda something. I like how that sounds." Welcome Andromeda. I'm TARDIS. How would you like to be friends? I look around the exited Tardis."I'd love that"
