Part 34

Raman entered the room and saw ishita trying to pick up a glass of water stretching herself in a dangerous posture. He ran up to her and held her back saying-" stop ishita kya kar rahi ho yaar? Doctor told u just now ki u can't take stress aur tum yahan yeh sab stunts kar rahi ho, for once , just for once for 2 days can u stop being superwoman and behave like a normal human being who is not well? Plz do din ke liye aaram se rest karo and do as I say . ok? Got it?"

Ishita was surprised to see raman like dis , babbling not even stopping in between for a breath and so when he ended his monologue and looked at ishita wid expectation and frustration, she cud nt help smiling at her cute angry face. She finally said-" ok as u say main karoongi but..."

Raman-" but kya?"

Ishita-" but pehle Mujhe paani toh de do plz, I am thirsty." And she pouted at him like a cute child and raman chuckled too at the scene. He handed over glass of water to her , made her sit and made her drink the water like she was a small child who cud nt handle herself. And then ishita said-" ab batao 2 din ke liye kya karna hai? I am waiting?"

Raman was relieved to see her in complacent form and said-" nothing much just do as Isay, time pe dawaai , khana , sona and all I say. Deal?"

Ishita-" deal , hmmm toh ab kya karun?"

Raman –" u have had enough exertion 4 d morning so just take a short nap for now. Jab uthogi toh aarav will be here and we will have lunch , ok?"

Ishita nodded and lied down while raman adjusted her head and pulled a blanket over her. She was asleep within minutes due to effect of sedatives. While she was sleeping in the meanwhile , raman talked to doctor , brought her medicines and had a chat wid aarav.

Ishita woke up at around 1 and saw aarav , shru and raman around her. She was delighted to see them and hugged aarav and shru tightly after which shru left and the trio sat down to lunch. Aarav started having his lunch and raman took a spoon and started feeding ishita when she suddenly asked-"aap?? Raman aap nahin kha rahe? Kyun? Kab khaoge?"

Raman-" nahi Mujhe bhook nahi hai tum dono khao , main baad mein kha lunga, dnt worry."

Ishita knew raman had not eaten anything since last evening when he brought her here, shru had told dis to her while leaving and told her to make raman eat wid her as she knew he won't eat it afterwards. Ishita was like an adamant kid now-" theek hai aapko nahi khana toh Mujhe bhi nahi khana , dats it."

Raman-" come on ishita , bachchon jaisi baatein mat karo , u need it come on have food."

Ishita-" no I told u agar Mujhe khaana chahiye toh tumhe bhi chahiye. Kyunki agar main hospital mein admit hun toh tum bhi kal sham se yahin ho aur Mujhe pata hai ki agar maine khana nahin khaya hai toh tumne bhi kal se kuch nahi khaya hai and I dnt want ki jaise hi main theek ho jaaun , tum beemar pad jao so ya toh hum saath khana khayenge ya koi nahin khayega, final."

Raman knew this time he cud nt win it against his jkr, his madrasan was in full form and he mentally made a not to chid shru afterwards. He sat down to have lunch and the trio had lunch laughing , teasing and having a gala time wid each other. At that moment ishita felt that time shld cease then and their while raman was just collecting these last moments of bliss in his life with aarav and ishita. Ishita cud see a sadness creeping up on raman's face time and again and she cud not help but think abt what cud be the matter.

After lunch, when she finally lied down , suddenly a thought came into her mind-" what if raman knew that she had gone to rampur despite of knowing abt riots?? Had shru told him?? What wud his reaction be? Was he angry ? was he sad ? that was the reason he was a bit estranged from her since she woke up?" a thousand questions flooded her mind till she heard raman cmng back. Rest of the day went in raman taking care of ishita while he talked to her, helped her freshen up, change and entertain her by making her listen to music. Ishita was just in bliss all the while. She did not want this phase to end ever.

At night after ishita lied down , she was feeling uneasy and not at all sleepy. Raman came their wid a book she was reading then and sat down by her side and started reciting the book to her at pace she understood and not caring if he was thoroughly bored or his throat was drying down due to speaking for 2 hours continuously. Finally ishita stopped him and said now she felt sleepy but her legs were hurting and she cud not sleep. Raman just went and started massaging her legs as he said-" sedatives ka asar hai ishita , dnt worry , doctor told me aise side effects ho sakte hain. So chill and try to sleep while I massage ur legs ok?"

Ishita jerked up-"raman nahi aap mere pair kaise daba sakte hain , u cannot , u shld not.plzz move away."

Ramam not in a mood for this melodrama said-" stop it yeh faaltu bakwaas mat karo mere saath plz, chup chap leto and try to sleep. Yeh purane zamaane ki baatein mat karo. Agar main tumhari aur tum meri jagah hotin toh bhi same cheez hoti so relax and lie down.

Raman did not knew when he himself slept by ishita's waist after she had slept and ishita woke up in night and made his head comfortable on the bed and took the extra blaket and covered his sleeping  while sitting form so that he cud atleast sleep well for some hours.
