Ch.8-Finnick needs help.

AU-Finnick gets charged for a crime he didn't commit. Can Nick and Judy help him? Let's find out.

   The next day at the ZPD was pretty fast. Nick and Judy got their early so that Judy could write the report of what happened last night. During this time Nick was left i the corner just staring at the adorable little bunny. Their was no doubt he was in love with her but he needed to do one more thing before he and her could be official.
   "Carrots. I was thinking," Nick started. Warning him one of Judy's faces that said 'what now'.
    "What is it slick?"
    "Well we have the weekend off. Why don't we visit your family?"
    "Why do I feel like this is because of our relationship and you wanting my parents to know so that it will be officially official?" Judy asked.
    "Because that's exactly what it is. I think your parents should go ahead and know that their little girl is dating a big mean fox. Don't you?" Nick asked with a grin.
    "Nick my parents might have liked you when we were just friends. But to introduce you as my boyfriend. That may have a different turn to it," Judy responded to the Fox in front of her," but if it's what you want we'll go this weekend."
   "Alright Carrots," Nick finished and was leaning in for a kiss when they were interrupted by a familiar voice,"I swear I didn't touch that guys car. Now let me the hell go!"
   "Is that Finnick?" Judy asked with confusion.
   "Yeah," Was all Nick said before running out to see what was going on.
   "Fangmire," Nick called when he got to the officers with the small fox," what did he do this time."
   "He stole a car out on trundra town," The wolf replied.
   "I didn't do it!" Finnick yelled.
   "Hey Finn. If you wanna get out of here I suggest you keep quiet and let me handle it. Fangmire. My known Finnick my whole life. He wouldn't steel a car. Do y'all have full evidence of it?"
   "No wilde, but the otter swears it was him," Fangmire replied.
   "Finnick listen. Just sit tight alright. I'll get you out of here," Nick said to his friend before walking to Chief Bogos office.
   "Chief I need a favor," Nick said.
   "What is it Wilde?" The buffalo asked looking up from him phone.
   "There was just a fox by the name of Finnick Earsle just been booked. I was wondering if I could see the report of the incident."
   "Wilde unless you have reason for this I can't allow it," the chief had said.
   "Chief I don't think Finnick stole the car."
   "And for what reason is that?"
   "Because I've known Finnick my whole life and he would never steal a car. And even if he did Finnick would take a little more than a sedan," Nick said.
   "Well if you think you can prove it Wilde.." the chief said. Then he pulled out the report and handed it to the fox in front of him,"But do not do anything unprofessional. Got it!"
   Nick then raised his arm to salut saying,"Yessir!," before walking out. Nick went back to the cubicle he and Judy shared and when Judy saw the file she said,"Finnick stole a car?"
   "No. They THINK Finnick stole a car. But I don't think he did. Looking at this report the otter claimed that she didn't see the person who took the car. But three days later it was found in Front of Finnicks van," Nick said with a little anger in his voice.
   "What's wrong Nick?"
   "I think their blaming Finnick because he's a fox."
   "Why would you think that?" Judy asked her fox as she let him continue.
   "Because in the apartment to the left of the car was Duke."
   "Weaslton?!?"
   "Yep", Nick said. And Now Judy believed it. Finnick was framed and it was because he was a Fox they suspected him.
   "Well then slick," Judy started,"lets go see the Duke about a car Jacking."
   "I love you so much Carrots," Nick told the rabbit.
   "I know you do Nick. Because your seeing my parents this weekend. You could get shot," Judy said with...a smile.
   "Woah. Woah. Woah. Carrots tell me your joking!" Nick said as the two walked toward their patrol car.

   When the two got to the apartment that belonged to the one and only, Duke Weaselton, Nick was the one to knock on the door. And man was it hard. The short weasel came out the door looking tired but peeled right up when he saw cops at his door.
   "What do you want Coppas. I was sleeping," the Duke said. Trying to get rid of them.
   "We want to know what you were doing last Thursday Duke," Judy said.
   "I was sleeping. What's it to you?"
   "Because someone is in jail for stealing a car. I don't think they did. I think YOU stole that car," Nick said with anger.
   Nick and Judy both could see in Dukes eyes that he did it. He grew worried but kept it cool as he said,"I didn't take that car. That's my story. And you can't get a confession of doing so out of me!"
   Judy put her hand over her forehead as she said,"Do I really have to give Mr. Big a call?"
   That perked the little weasel right up as he said,"I took the car. I knew that the cops would think it was me if they saw it by my apartment. So I put it in front of that foxes van. Because I mean seriously if a stolen car in right in front of a FOX. What are they gonna do? They'll blame the fox," the weasel said. Judy didn't understand why the Duke was emphasizing the word 'fox' so much. Until she saw the look in Nicks eyes. It was a look of hatred and disgust. Then Nick went quickly to the weasel and Judy and The Duke both thought Nick was gonna hurt him. But they were both surprised when they heard handcuff.
   "Duke Weaselton. You are under arrest for Grand Theft Auto, tampering with evidence, and framing an innocent. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in court...."
   Nick continued reading the Duke his rights till the weasel was in their car. They got to the ZPD and Bogo was surprised to see that the two found the REAL car thief.
   After writing the report the couple left the ZPD and went home to pack. They had 3 days till they had to leave for Bunny-Burrow.
   In all honesty Nick didn't want to do it. It scared him to imagine what Stu would do to him if he found out that he was with Judy. How would he react. I guess Nick will find out in three days.

AU-So yeah. I've wanted to make the chapter of Nick meeting Judy's parents as a boyfriend for a while. Guess it's coming next. Till then....
