4. Finding Out Your Baby's Gender

"Are you excited babe? Today we're finding out our baby's gender!", Juan asked me as we ate breakfast in our outside patio, "Well duh I'm excited! I wanna know if my little munchkin is gonna be a boy or a girl!" I told him as I finished my pancakes. "If it's a boy, we're naming him after me, I mean Juan Luis is a very good name." He told me as he started smiling, "Fine, that will be our last choice of names, but we have to get going already because our appointment is at 10:30 and right now it's 9:50, and the drive over there is like 30 minutes and we have to get there earlier." I told him as I quickly tried to pick up the plates, only to see Juan put them back down, " No babe, I'll pick them up." He said, "But I'm not even 5 months along! I can still pick up 4 plates!" I told him, "Still it's for our baby's safety, who knows maybe a plate can fall and squish your belly, hurting our baby." He told me walking away and leaving me wondering how a plate can actually fall on my feet and squish my baby, which is in my belly. "Okay come on babe." He said as he quickly grabbed the car keys and his jacket, since it was kinda chilly outside.

Skip car ride

"Mr and Mrs. Arias!" The doctor called, we got up and headed over to where they signaled they would be checking the gender and ultrasound, "So how has your baby been doing Mrs.Arias? Has the little person been kicking?" Dr. Johnson asked me, "Ugh! The baby's been kicking up storms, especially at night, leaving me to wake up at 1:00 pm!" I told Dr.Johnson. "Okay, now were going to check your baby." She said as she spread some gel on my belly, "Wow Mrs. Arias, seems like your baby is super healthy! Okay now, do you want to know the gender?" She asked you as you discussed it with Juan "Yes please!" Juan blurted out, " Okay, you will be having a baby boy and your approximated due date will be around May 20 something, now if you wanna induce the labor or have a scheduled C- Section, just contact me around a month earlier, do you guys have any questions?" She asked us, "Uh I don't think so, but okay thank you." I told her, "Do you guys want the ultrasound pictures?" She asked us as Juan nodded " Okay I will be right back," She told us as she exited the room leaving the three of us alone, " Oh my god, I can't believe I'm having a son!" Juan said jumping up and down " Neither can I!" I told him as I saw tears come out of his eyes and felt my own tears coming out of mine, " I love you babe," He told me as I leaned in to kiss him. 

So I'm really sorry for not updating sooner guys like seriously but anyways, I will try to update more during the summer 👑💖, till later guys
